Who had the best stats in Gameweek 6?

We answer the question, who had the best stats in Gameweek 6? Using the Fantasy Football Scout members area we take a look at some of the players that topped the key attacking stats from the latest round in FPL. Stats will include underlying data points like shots on target, chances created and other important stats to give us an indication of which players did well.

Looking at underlying stats every gameweek can indicate which players did well. Even if the players who topped the stats didn’t return any points. This can be a good sign that the players were close to returning. FPL managers are always on the lookout for assets that could potentially return in the future. This could help with that.

Pascal Groß

Brighton continued their fantastic start to the season in Gameweek 6. Their opponents Leicester were completely dismantled by the home side which saw them perform a thrilling 5-2 victory. A large contributor to that sucess has been £6m midfielder Pascal Groß.

Amongst all players in Gameweek 6 Pascal Groß was first for crosses (17), joint second for chances created (5) and joint first for big chances created (2). The midfielder topped several key distribution stats and was rewarded with an assist. With Bournemouth up next, Pascal Groß could have the potential to extend his impressive points tally of 42.

Kieran Trippier

Newcastle have shown massive defensive improvement in comparison to their rough patches last season. A key player in that backline is that of £5.2m defender Kieran Trippier. The free-kick taker has managed to make it into 32% of FPL teams already. His 30 points currently makes him the second highest scoring defender in the game.

Amongst all players in the league the defender impressively managed to be second for crosses (15), first for successful crosses (8) and first for chances created (6). With great fixtures ahead and an increasing price-tag, FPL managers could do well to invest in him.

Darwin Núñez

Liverpool forward and £8.9m forward Darwin Núñez returned from his three-match ban with a game against Everton. Liverpool really struggled to break down the Everton defence, but Nunez looked hungry for goals.

Amongst all players in the league in Gameweek 6 Darwin Núñez was joint first for attempts on goal (6) and joint first for shots in the box (5). However, the Liverpool man failed to convert those good stats into FPL points. With a meeting against Wolves next the attacker has plenty of potential to translate his offensive data into returns.

Ivan Toney

Brentford carried on their great scoring run with a whopping five goals against Leeds in Gameweek 6. Scoring the bulk of the goals was £7.2m forward Ivan Toney. His huge 17 points in FPL came from his three goals and bonus points.

Amongst all players in the league Ivan Toney was first for goals scored, joint first for attempts on goal (6) and joint first for big chances total. With fantastic fixtures ahead the striker could become a high priority for FPL managers.
