Key talking points
The panel are unanimous in their feelings that Newcastle and Spurs will win at home in Gameweek 8. They also all believe that Man City will win away. With the exception of FBL
The panel are predicting just nine clean sheets this week. The majority believe that Man City and Newcastle will keep a clean sheet. Therefore they could be the defences to invest in.
Between them the panel have predicted 102 goals will be scored. Newcastle, Man City and Spurs are predicted to score the most goals in Gameweek 8. Therefore these are potentially attacking teams for FPL managers to target.
FPL Comment
Gameweek 8 has already been altered, and it currently seems that all seven remaining fixtures will go ahead. It would be sensible to leave your transfers as late as possible in case anything changes. Especially with the European matches in midweek..
If all goes ahead, I will be looking to target Tottenham players against Leicester. I think that Salah to Son could be a very popular transfer this week. Son’s his underlying stats are on the way up, and he’s due a return.
