Who tops the ticker?
It’s Liverpool who top the Fantasy Football Scout fixture ticker this week. Arne Slot and his men come up against both Wolves and Aston Vila in Gameweek 25, so have two great opportunities to pick up points.
The double could mean potential for both Liverpool’ defensive and offensive assets. Whilst Wolves have proven to be one of the worst sides overall this season, Aston Villa also rank in the bottom half for both goals scored and goals conceded.
Who else makes the top three?
The other side who occupy a top two spot is Aston Villa, they also play twice. Unai Emery’ men clash with both Ipswich and Liverpool this week. Ipswich could be a perfect opportunity for their assets, but a fixture against the league leaders could prove considerably tougher.
Ranking third on the fixture ticker heading into the new round, Bournemouth have a plum meeting with Southampton. Sitting bottom of the league, the Saints have conceded the most goals and scored the least goals in the league thus far.
Other teams with good fixtures
Arsenal also have a great fixture this week. The Gooners meet with promoted side Leicester, who have lost a huge eight of their previous nine matches. Leicester are evidently in a torrid run of form whilst Arsenal will be hoping to make it three wins on the bounce.
Another side expected to do well in Gameweek 25 according to the ticker is Crystal Palace. The Eagles go into the next match having won three of their previous four outings. The fixture may be tougher than once thought though, considering Everton have won their last three consecutive matches.
Brentford should be another team FPL managers look to this week. West Ham lay ahead, who rank among the bottom five teams for multiple defensive metrics. The Bees have been hit and miss in terms of results recently, but ranking among the top six this season for total goals scored, suggests they could do some damage offensively.
