This list of goal involvements is dominated by the four-goal hauls of both Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne. The Jarrod Bowen brace against their Man City side followed three assists during West Ham’s win at Norwich.

What’s interesting about Son Heung-min is that he’s in fantastic form – stretching further to 13 goal involvements from the last nine – whilst not featuring high for either goal attempts or penalty area touches.

Yet team mate Harry Kane is clear at the top for most shots (20). Both face last-placed Norwich on the final day, who have conceded the most attempts (614) and expected goals (80.57) throughout the season.

When looking for their final transfer, FPL managers will also like seeing Mason Mount and Ivan Toney rank high. Their Gameweek 38 opponents? Watford (H) and Leeds (H), the two after Norwich for xGC.

Meanwhile, two Brighton players have been in great form recently. Danny Welbeck is mentioned in last week’s ‘Underachievers’ piece and Tuesday’s article on the best Free Hit 38 squad. Not only have two goals and three assists arrived during the last four matches, he also has the underlying stats to back this up. Only Kane betters his expected goals and expected goal involvement tallies over the last four games.

Team mate Leandro Trossard also has five returns in this period, highlighted by a 17-point haul versus Man United. The Belgian is listed as a midfielder yet gets plenty of penalty area touches, with West Ham their final opponent.

In fact, another Brighton man is near the top. Although Alexis Mac Allister only has one goal from his last 14 starts, he ranks fifth in both lists above.

Other prominent names include Raheem Sterling, Bruno Fernandes and Maxwel Cornet.
