There was confidence that at least a couple of last week’s eight names would finally get on the scoresheet. But nope, not one of them.
Nicolas Jackson continues his tendency to avoid goals and pick up bookings, meaning he’s already one yellow away from suspension.
The most-sold individual heading into Gameweek 5, he’s already on course to repeat that for a second time. Over 128,000 have given up on the frustrating Chelsea forward since Saturday.
Meanwhile, Man United duo Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford couldn’t score past a Brighton defence still to keep a clean sheet. When a consolation goal did arrive, it involved neither. That’s despite Rashford having a joint-high of nine attempts, six of which from inside the box.
The four shots from Ollie Watkins all missed. Still goalless, no player is underachieving more when compared to his seasonal xG (-2.38)
Brentford’s Yoane Wissa is now eligible for this list, having not added to his goals from Gameweeks 1 and 2, whilst Eberechi Eze’s unsuccessful big chance at Villa Park secures his new entry.
