Which players are due a goal in Gameweek 11?
Picking out the players that look likely to score in an FPL gameweek is a big part of management. Using recent underlying stats from the Fantasy Football Scout, we assess which players are due a goal in Gameweek 11.

However, others are shooting and getting in the right places without having either luck or end product. So let’s look at the players who have met the following criteria over their last four league appearances:
- No more than one goal
- At least 9 shots
- At least two big chances
- An expected goals (xG) tally of 1.00
- An expected goal involvement (xGI) of 1.20
Due a goal in Gameweek 11
The success of last week’s selection was undoubtedly Darwin Nunez. Handed his fourth start of the season, the Uruguayan bagged a goal and assist versus Nottingham Forest. On four goals and five assists, he’s averaging an attacking return every 50 minutes.
Of the other names, Richarlison and Beto are still listed here and injury keeps Eberechi Eze on the sidelines. Christian Norgaard’s lack of goal action during Brentford’s win at Chelsea removes him.
Instead, James Maddison is joining these proceedings. It’s scary to think of him as an underachiever, considering seven of his ten league appearances have ended with either a goal or an assist. Last Monday’s goal at home to Fulham preceded a weekend assist at Crystal Palace.
An FPL gift to his owners, he is joint-best for chance creation (31) and second only to Erling Haaland for shots on target (15). The England international finds regular joy from both open play and set-pieces and is about to face Chelsea.
