When are the remaining double gameweeks?

FPL managers are in the middle of Double Gameweek 34. These double gameweeks can be key in terms of whether FPL managers win their mini-leagues and achieve the overall rank that they want. Knowing when the remaining double gameweeks are will be key for FPL managers. Here we detail the remaining double gameweeks of the 2022/23 season.

The Premier League have now rescheduled the final postponed games of the 2022/23 season. This means that FPL managers now know exactly where the final double gameweeks will happen.

Double Gameweek 36

Brighton and Newcastle will both play twice in Gameweek 36.

The Seagull’s will face Arsenal and Newcastle in two away fixtures for their two matches.

Newcastle also have two fixtures. They will travel away to Leeds before hosting Brighton in their second match.

Double Gameweek 37

Man United, Brighton, Man City and Chelsea will all play twice in Gameweek 37.

Brighton have two home fixtures against Southampton and Man City.

Chelsea are in Manchester for both of their double gameweek fixtures. They face Man City away, before staying in the north to play Man United away.

Man United face Bournemouth away and Chelsea at home.

Man City have Chelsea at home followed by Brighton away.

What does this mean for FPL?

Managers will likely want to invest heavily in the teams who double. Brighton are the only team to play twice in both Gameweek 36 and 37. This will make the Seagull’s a popular target for FPL managers. Owning three of the in form Brighton assets seems a wise move for FPL managers. Especially as they are all at budget friendly price tags too.

Man City, Newcastle and Man United all have one further double gameweek to play. They are also teams who are likely to be well motivated for the end of the season. Man City are in a title race and therefore they need the points to ensure that they beat Arsenal to the Premier League trophy. Meanwhile both Newcastle and Man United will be looking to secure a top four finish and Champions League football next season.

Chelsea are likely the least appealing. They have struggled for form recently and they have tough double gameweek scheduled.
