The Premier League have launched a new fantasy game called ‘FPL Challenge’. The new game sits alongside FPL and FPL Draft. Challenge is a more casual and playful format which is easy for all fantasy players to play!
FPL Challenge Details
Here are some crucial bits of information we do know:
- Each Gameweek you can select a 15-man squad with a budget of £100m
- Managers can select two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three forwards.
- You can choose a captain and a vice captain, like in FPL.
- The scoring system is identical to that of FPL, although different challenges can affect that.
- Scores will be reset and prizes will be won on a weekly basis.
What are the Challenges?
- In Gameweek 30 managers have the ability to pick any team they want without budget restrictions, a bit like Limitless in UCL Fantasy for those that play.
- Gameweek 31 sees forwards score double points. This means that managers who captain a forward will get four captain returns from three forwards if you give one of them the armband.
- In Gameweek 32 players will be able to earn double points for players involved in the Manchester United v Liverpool match.
