UCL Fantasy Matchday 6 Best Budget Players

With the new round just around the corner we take a look at some of the UCL Fantasy Matchday 6 best budget players. Using fixtures, stats, and team and player from we reveal some of budget picks with the most potential for the round ahead.

It could be extremely difficult to get all of the players you want into your squads at times which is why finding the UCL Fantasy Matchday 6 best budget players can be absolutely essential. Budget players are great but finding cheap picks with massive potential could be even more beneficial.

Oscar Gloukh

There seems to be a range of great cheap budget picks this season. However, there is a lack of that in the midfield bracket which is a position we need them in. This is because most of the best options are in the frontline and in defence.

One player who could help with that is Salzburg’ Oscar Gloukh (€5.1m). The Austrian side have been underwhelming this season but they still sit in the third place Europa spot. Salzburg go into the game knowing a win or a draw against Benfica will be enough. What is interesting is that Benfica have to win the game by two goals or more to claim the Europa slot. This could mean that we see Benfica go all attack during the game.

The above is likely to create plenty of space for the Salzburg attackers. Its also worth remembering that Benfica have conceded six goals in their last two Champions League matches so there are major question marks over their defence anyway.

19-year-old Israel international has attracted the attention of clubs around Europe because of his quality. Gloukh has already managed two goals in the Champions League this season, plays behind the striker and has racked up a solid four goals and three assists in 15 domestic league matches. Gloukh has the potential to do very well this week against a desperate Benfica.

Feyenoord

Feyenoord have been an exciting watch during the Champions League Group Stages due to their high energy and all out attack method of playing. Although impressive the Dutch Champions have failed to secure a place in the last 16 but instead a Europa spot.

Celtic lay ahead and although the game could be deemed as pointless there are still factors to consider. The first being that the Feyenoord fans will want to go out with a bang and expect to end on a high. Another reason we should consider Feyenoord assets is because they are also very cheap.

Most of the Feyenoord appeal comes from the fact that they face Celtic next. The Scottish side sit rock bottom in the group after losing four of their five matches and conceding a huge 14 goals. Its also worth highlighting that the last time these teams faced each other Feyenoord won comfortably.

With all of that in mind managers could look to full-back Quilindschy Hartman (€4.6m) who has recorded five attacking returns all season. Another great defensive option could be centre-back Lutsharel Geertruida (€4.6m) who has also bagged five goal contributions.

They also have some very good attacking options. Calvin Stengs (€6.2m) still sits at a great price. Stengs plays behind the striker, takes some set pieces and has bagged three returns in his first five games. Another very interesting option is central midfielder Quinten Timber (€5m) who has hit an impressive five goals and six assists this season. Timber is also useful when it comes to ball recoveries which can help towards his points total.

Goalkeepers

We as UCL Fantasy managers have been very lucky this season. The game has provided us with some very nicely priced goalkeepers this campaign which has been a massive boost to how much we spend elsewhere.

One of the newest additions to the pool of budget goalkeepers is Iñaki Peña (€4m). With Marc Ter Stegen out due to injury and needing surgery Iñaki Peña will start his second successive Champions League matches. With Antwerp ahead, the worst team in the Group, Peña could be set for his first clean sheet.

Other great budget goalkeepers include Dmytro Riznyk (€4m) of Shakhtar Donetsk who faces Porto, Inter’ Yann Sommer (€4.5m) who has a meeting with Real Sociedad, Real Madrid’ Andriy Lunin (€4.6m) who has a game against Union Berlin and Newcastle number two Martin Dubravka (€4.5m) who faces Milan.
