Goalkeepers

Arsenal have been fantastic at the back – keeping a clean sheet in all three of their UCL games. With that in mind and their upcoming game against Slavia Praha, bringing in goalkeeper David Raya could offer potential.

If Raya fails to pick up a solid return, then we would turn our attention to the team with the second best defence in the league, Newcastle. The Magpies host Athletic Club this week, which could be a good opening for Nick Pope to pick up points.

Defenders

The Arsenal defence is statistically one of the best in Europe, so doubling up on their backline should bring success. Fortunately with Gabriel, he also offers attacking threat – his goal and assist in Matchday 3 is evidence of that.

Another defence UCL Fantasy managers could double up on is Inter. The Italian side have collected a clean sheet in all three of their matches in the CL, and come up against a poor Kairat side next up. Inter play with a back-three system so both Federico Dimarco and Denzel Dumfries also have significant attacking threat.

Leverkusen have been very poor at the back, but it’s difficult to ignore Alejandro Grimaldo. The Spaniard heads into his game against Benfica having managed an impressive four goals and three assists in just eight matches domestically.

Tottenham are another side with good clean sheet potential this week. The London based side have been inconsistent in terms of clean sheets, but a home match versus Copenhagen could offer both defensive and offensive points for Mickey van de Ven.

Midfielders

Qarabag have impressed, but are still very ropey at the back. They face an in-form Chelsea attack, who have several good options including penalty taker Enzo Fernandez.

Barcelona’ 6-1 win against Olympiakos is one example of how they dangerous they can be. The Catalan attackers could have another fruitful opportunity ahead, so including both Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez could be explosive routes to points.

We don’t have to worry about Arsenal rotation this week due to the fact they play in the early kick-off. One of the perks of this is being able to check if penalty taker and standout attacker Bukayo Saka is on the team sheet.

Completing the midfield, and our only midfielder playing his fixture at home this week, is Anthony Gordon. The Englishman has already managed five attacking returns in the current campaign.

Forwards

Having conceded a huge eight goals in their previous two matches, USG could be a great team to target this week. Spearheading the Atleti attack is penalty taker Julian Alvarez, who has produced six goals and two assists in just 10 La Liga matches this season.

On teams who face poor defences, we look to Galatasaray. The Turkish giants face-off against the joint worst defence in the Champions League so far, Ajax. Victor Osimhen bagged a brace and player of the match in Matchday 3, so goes into the round in good form.

Manchester City come up against Dortmund next who have conceded in all of their CL matches. With that in mind and taking into account his relentless form this season, penalty taker Erling Haaland could have home potential against his former side.
