UCL Fantasy Matchday 3: Goals, Assists, Player of the Match Awards and more
The new round is now over so we take a look back at each and every game in UCL Fantasy Matchday 3. In this article we cover the most significant player returns from the third round matches, whether that be the players who scored, assisted, picked up player of the match awards and more.

Galatasaray v Bayern
- Although Galatasaray looked threatening and dominant for some periods of the game Bayern proved too tough and the German side won the game 3-1.
- The biggest return of the game came from Bayern midfielder Kingsley Coman (€8m). Coman bagged 10 points after scoring and securing the player of the match award.
- Another big return came from striker Harry Kane (€10m) who hit nine points for his goal and assist.
- Both Galatasaray striker Mauro Icardi (€9m) and Bayern midfielder Jamal Musiala (€8.5m) collected eight points for their goal each, the former also gained two points for earning a penalty.
Inter v Salzburg
- The game finished 2-1 to Inter as they claimed their second win of the campaign.
- The biggest points haul came from Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu (€7m). He picked up 12 points due to his goal and player of the matcha award.
- Salzburg midfielder Oscar Gloukh (€5.1m) banked eight points for his goal outside the box. That was his second eight-point return in three matches played.
- Inter striker Alexis Sanchez (€7.4m) also scored which helped him to six points.
- In-form Inter forward Lautaro Martinez (€9m) slumped to a two-point return in UCL Fantasy Matchday 3.
Lens v PSV
- It was a tightly fought match between the teams and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
- PSV midfielder Johan Bakayoko (€7.5m) collected the biggest points return with eight after scoring from outside the box.
- Lens midfielder Przemyslaw Frankowski (€6m) hit seven points after creating the assist for the goal and racking up six ball recoveries.
- Lens striker Sepe Elye Wahi (€6.6m) took away six points after scoring his sides goal.
- Lens defender Kevin Danso (€4.5m) scooped the player of the match award and hit six points without a clean sheet, assist or a goal.
Union Berlin v Napoli
- Napoli won their second match away from home with a 1-0 win against the German side.
- Two players notched up nine points. One of them was midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (€9.5m) who created the assist for the goal and picked up the player of the match award. The other player was Napoli defender Natan (€4.4m). The Brazilian centre-back amassed a huge 11 ball recoveries and a clean sheet.
- Popular Napoli full-back Giovanni Di Lorenzo (€5.5m) banked a decent eight points due to the clean sheet and seven ball recoveries .
- Napoli striker Giacomo Raspadori (€7.4m) scored the only goal of the game which helped him to six points.
Manchester United v Copenhagen
- Manchester United were not hugely convincing but they still won the game 1-0.
- The biggest success was Manchester United centre-back Harry Maguire (€4.5m). He collected a huge 14 points after scoring a goal, keeping a clean sheet and accumulating seven ball recoveries.
- Another Manchester United player to take away double-digits was goalkeeper Andre Onana (€5.9m). He saved a penalty, picked up a save point for four saves and kept a clean sheet to reach 12 points.
- The third highest return came from centre-back Raphael Varane (€5m). The Frenchman kept the clean sheet of course along with six ball recoveries.
Sevilla v Arsenal
- Sevilla made it a tough game but Arsenal proved too difficult and the visitors won the match 2-1.
- The only double-digit haul of the match came from Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus (€8.5m). The Brazilian was fantastic and created one goal and scored the other. His player of the match award also contributed to his 12-point return.
- Arsenal midfielder Gabriel Martinelli (€8.5m) also had a successful match. Martinelli produced a goal and six ball recoveries to finish on eight points.
- Sevilla midfielder Nemanja Gudelj (5.5m) matched Martinelli’ return with a goal and four ball recoveries.
- Sevilla midfielder Ivan Rakitic (€6.5m) banked seven points for creating the assist and making six ball recoveries.
Braga v Real Madrid
- Braga made it tough at times for Real Madrid but they still lost the game 2-1.
- Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior (€11m) claimed the biggest return with eight points. The Brazilian created an assist and won the player of the match award.
- Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham (€7.8m) hit seven points after scoring making it his third return in a row.
- Braga striker Alvaro Djalo (€7m) matched Bellingham for points due to his goal.
- Real Madrid forward Rodrygo (€9m) managed six points for scoring his goal.
Benfica v Real Sociedad
- Real Sociedad continued their impressive start to the campaign with a 1-0 win over Benfica.
- Real Sociedad midfielder Brais Mendez (€6.8m) hit his third successive return. He bagged nine points for scoring the only goal and making five ball recoveries.
- Real Socieded defender Aihen Munoz (€4.5m) banked nine points too after keeping the clean sheet and registering nine ball recoveries.
- Real Sociedad defender Hamari Traore (€4.5m) claimed eight points with the clean sheet and six ball recoveries.
- Real Sociedad midfielder Ander Barrenetzxea (€4.5m) picked up his first return of the season. He created the assist for the goal which helped him to six points.
- Real Sociedad forward Takefusa Kubo (€5m) failed to score or assist but still managed to collect the player of the match award.
Barcelona v Shakhtar Donetsk
- Barcelona were without key players due to injury but still scraped a 2-1 win against the Ukrainian side.
- Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez (€4.4m) was the star of the show with 15 points. He was excellent throughout – scoring from outside the box, creating an assist and picking up the player of the match award.
- Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Georgiy Sudakov (€6.5m) notched up nine points due to his goal and six ball recoveries.
- Barcelona forward Ferran Torres (€7.5m) also had some success. He hit eight points due to scoring a goal and creating an assist.
- Shakhtar Donetsk defender Irakli Azaroz (€4m) gained six points for creating the assist for his sides goal and recovering seven balls.
Feyenoord v Lazio
- Feyenoord were fantastic during the game and fully deserved their 3-1 win over Lazio.
- The standout return came from Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez (€7.5m). He claimed a huge 12 points for his brace of goals and player of the match award.
- Another big return came from Feyenoord midfielder Ramiz Zerrouki (€5m) who bagged nine points for scoring and producing eight ball recoveries.
- Feyenoord midfielder Mats Wieffer (€5m) returned seven points as he created an assist and seven ball recoveries.
- Lazio midfielder and former Chelsea player Pedro (€6.5m) came on late to score which helped him to reach six points.
- Another fantasy favourite in Feyenoord midfielder Calvin Stengs (€6.2m) claimed six points after creating an assist.
Leipzig v Crvena zvezda
- Leipzig were too much for Crvena zvezda and won convincingly 3-1.
- Leipzig full-back David Raum (€4.5m) cashed in on his attacking data with a huge 13 points. The German international scored, made seven ball recoveries and won the player of the match award.
- Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons (€6.5m) came close to his teammate with 12 points. The Dutchman scored a superb goal from outside the box and created an assist for his total.
- Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo (€7m) failed to start the game but came on late to score and scoop up six points.
Newcastle v Dortmund
- The ‘Group of ‘Death’ continued to surprise as Dortmund pinched a 1-0 victory away from home.
- Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck (€5.5m) came away with the biggest haul. He collected 10 points for creating the assist and keeping the clean sheet.
- Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha (€5m) scored the only goal of the game and banked eight points.
- Dortmund striker Donyell Malen (€7.5m) failed to create anything of significance and still raked in the player of the match award to hit five points.
Antwerp v Porto
- Antwerp struck first but Porto blitzed them after winning 4-1.
- Porto striker Evanilson (€6.9m) marked his return with a bang. He hit one of the biggest returns of UCL Fantasy Matchday 3 with 16 points after scoring three goals and winning the player of the match award.
- Porto striker Mehdi Taremi (€8m) collected nine points for creating two assists.
- Antwerp midfielder Alhassan Yussuf (€4.9m) matched Taremi for points due to his goal and seven ball recoveries.
- Porto midfielder Stephen Eusaquio (€6m) also scored to finish on seven points.
Celtic v Atletico
- This was one of the most exciting games of the week as Celtic drew 2-2 to Atletico.
- Celtic midfielder Mathew Riley (€6.5m) claimed nine points for creating an assist and winning the player of the match award.
- Celtic forward Kyogo Furuhashi (€7.5m) bagged seven points due to his goal and three ball recoveries.
- Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart (€4.6m) may have conceded two goals but he still racked up seven points for his penalty save.
- Atletico striker Alvaro Morata (€7.6m) scored which helped him bag six points.
PSG v Milan
- It was a surprising result between the sides as PSG comfortably beat a tough Milan side.
- The biggest success came from PSG midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery (€5m). He banked 13 points after creating two assists and taking away the player of the match award.
- PSG defensive players like Marquinhos (€5.5m) and goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (€6m) returned eight and seven points for their clean sheet.
- PSG forward Kylian Mbappe (€11.5m) picked up six points for his goal and striker Randal Kolo Muani matched him because of his goal.
Young Boys v Manchester City
- Young Boys were valiant in their efforts but they couldn’t beat the European champions and lost the game 3-1.
- UCL Fantasy Matchday 3 saw the return to form of one man. Erling Haaland (€11.5m) scooped the biggest return of the game with 10 points. The Norwegian scored two goals after failing to convert in his first two matches.
- The second biggest return came from Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji (€5m). His nine points came from the goal he scored and four ball recoveries.
- Manchester City midfielder Rodri (€6.5m) bagged eight points for his assist, penalty earned and three ball recoveries.
- Young Boys striker Meschack Elia (€6m) picked up seven points for his goal scored from outside the box.
- Manchester City defender Rico Henry (€4.5m) finished the game on six points as he earned the player of the match award.
