Goalkeepers

Finding a goalkeeper rotation that lasts all of the way to Matchday 8 is tough, but both Chelsea’ Robert Sanchez (€5m) and PSG’ Lucas Chevalier (€4.5m) do exactly that.

Both goalkeepers play for two good sides and both have clean sheet potential going into any given game.

Defenders

Inter have been excellent at the back – bagging two clean sheets in their first two matches. They also play with a back-three which makes Federico Dimarco (€5.5m) – who has managed four attacking returns in his previous four matches – a great option.

Napoli have a brilliant run of fixtures ahead, so investing in their defence could be wise. One of their most nailed defenders for gametime is centre-back Sam Beukema (€4.5m), who comes in nice and cheap.

Arsenal are another side who have been exceptional from a defensive perspective. One of their cheapest options is full-back Riccardo Calafiori (€4.5m).

Clean sheets have been largely tough to predict, so spending as little as possible at the back could be a good play. With that in mind we look to Dortmund centre-back Waldemar Anton (€4m).

Newcastle are another side coming into a very appealing run of fixtures. With five clean sheets in the Premier League already, the Magpies look like a good defence to invest in. Arguably their best option for gametime is Dan Burn (€4.5m).

Midfielders

Napoli’ great schedule means investing in their attack could provide success. Their best option is penalty taker Kevin De Bruyne (€8m) who bagged two assists in Matchday 2.

A continuation of their good fixture list also means that Newcastle attackers should catch the eye. One of their better attacking options is Anthony Gordon (€7m) – he produced three goals in his first two games – with two of them coming from the penalty spot.

Scoring at least three goals in all but two of their previous 10 matches makes Bayern attacking investment essential. One of two excellent picks in attack is of course Michael Olise (€8m). As well as bagging double-digits in Matchday 2, he also scored in his most recent league game.

Playing out-of-position up front for Atalanta makes Ademola Lookman (€7m) a great option. The Nigerian has a very good schedule ahead and his side are unbeaten in their previous five matches.

Marseille seem to have caught the eye of many UCL Fantasy managers in the community. As well as impressing against Real Madrid, they also dismantled Ajax 4-0 in the recent round. Contributing to that was Igor Paixao (€6m), who collected a massive 18 points in Matchday 2.

Forwards

Leading the unstoppable Bayern frontline is penalty taker Harry Kane (€10.6m). The Englishman has already netted a whopping 20+ goals since the start of the season, and has a good opportunity ahead to add to that.

Another player who can’t stop scoring for club and country is Kylian Mbappe (€10.6m). Real Madrid’ main man has amassed five goals and two player of the match awards in his opening two clashes alone.

Whilst Manchester City are yet to convince in the Champions League, the same can’t be said for their penalty taking Norwegian, Erling Haaland (€10.5m). Haaland has produced 14 goals across his 10 Premier League and Champions League matches.
