Goalkeepers
No team has kept more clean sheets than Newcastle in the Premier League this season. With that in mind – and given they’re playing at home – Nick Pope could be an excellent option between the sticks on Tuesday.
If Pope doesn’t deliver a strong return, Chelsea’s Robert Sánchez looks like a reliable back-up. The Blues face an Ajax side that are yet to score a single goal in the Champions League this season.
Defenders
Inter have continued their excellent defensive form from last season, recording back-to-back clean sheets in their opening two matches. This week they face USG, who failed to score at home in the previous round.
Beyond clean sheet potential, wing-backs Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco also offer major attacking threat. Dumfries scored in his most recent Champions League outing, while Dimarco has produced four assists and two goals across his last six games.
Dortmund also play with a back three, giving wing-back Daniel Svensson both defensive and attacking potential. The Bundesliga side face Copenhagen, and Svensson heads into the match having scored in Matchday 2.
With few teams offering strong clean sheet potential this week, backing a reliable defence could be the smart play. Arsenal have recorded back-to-back clean sheets in the Champions League so far, and their standout option is Gabriel, who carries significant goal threat from set pieces.
Completing the defence, we turn to another premium pick from a top side – Achraf Hakimi. PSG take on an out-of-sorts Leverkusen, and the Moroccan full-back has already registered five assists this season, showcasing multiple routes to points.

Midfielders
Barcelona have a plum home fixture against Olympiakos next, and UCL Fantasy managers will have access to the line-ups before the deadline. With that in mind, Lamine Yamal stands out as a fantastic option – he’s returned in all but two of his matches this season.
Newcastle’s home clash with Benfica also promises attacking potential. The Magpies impressed in their 4-0 win over USG, and among the scorers was penalty taker Anthony Gordon, who delivered a huge 13-point haul for his efforts.
Investing in the relentless Bayern attack ahead of their home meeting with Club Brugge should be a priority this week. One of their standout options is Michael Olise, who produced 14 points in his latest UCL appearance.
Another midfielder who impressed in Matchday 2 was Kevin De Bruyne. The Napoli penalty taker created two assists against Sporting CP and now faces an even weaker defence in PSV.
Our final midfield selection is Ademola Lookman. The Atalanta talisman has recently returned from injury but appears to have reclaimed a regular starting spot. This week he faces a leaky Slavia Praha defence, presenting a great opportunity to make an impact.
Forwards
Including the most in-form striker in Europe – Harry Kane – should be an easy decision this week. With 21 goals already this season, the Bayern penalty taker is arguably the standout forward option in the entire game.
Also easing his way into our Matchday 3 Limitless side is Manchester City’s Erling Haaland. The in-form Norwegian, who has scored three goals in his first two UCL outings, faces a Villarreal side that has conceded five goals in their last two matches.
Galatasaray’s home clash with Bodo/Glimt could also hold plenty of attacking potential. Leading the line after recovering from injury is penalty taker Victor Osimhen, who scored in their 1-0 win over Liverpool.
