UCL Fantasy Best Wildcard team for Matchday 6

Goalkeepers

  • Aaron Ramsdale (€5m) – UCL Fantasy managers will have access to the Arsenal line-ups ahead of the deadline which could be massive in terms of strategy. It is likely that Ramsdale will step up for the Gooners between the sticks this week and could help them to an impressive four out of a possible six clean sheets.
  • Inaki Pena (€4m) – Barcelona have a meeting with the worst team in the Group this week, Antwerp. With that in mind the clean sheet could be on for the Spanish giants. Due to the injury to number one Marc Ter Stegen, Pena will step in.

Defenders

  • Federico Dimarco (€5.4m) – As frustrating as he has been for gametime the Inter wing-back could be a great pick this week. Inter go into the new round having to beat Real Sociedad to top the group and Dimarco scored two goals in his last five matches.
  • Giovanni Di Lorenzo (€5.5m) – Napoli play at home this week which could be a great opportunity to keep the clean sheet. However, Di Lorenzo has proven he pick up points even without the clean sheet due to his two attacking returns in the UCL already.
  • Joao Cancelo (€6m) – Doubling up on the Barcelona defence could be very rewarding this week against Antwerp. Cancelo seems to be settling into life at Barcelona and managed a massive 14 points due to his goal, assist and player of the match award in Matchday 5.
  • Kieran Trippier (€6m) – Newcastle also play at home this week, a place they have had their best performances in the Champions League so far. Trippier has clean sheet potential but he has also managed a whopping seven assists this campaign.
  • Rico Lewis (€4.8m) – Manchester City have won the group they still have a great fixture this week against Crvena Zvezda. Lewis has started the last four UCL matches for his side but he can also get into some great attacking positions.

Midfielders

  • Galeno (€6.8m) – Porto go into a game against Shakhtar Donetsk after beating them 3-1 in the reverse fixture. One player who was on the score sheet that day was Galenio who managed a massive 19 points due to his two goals and player of the match award. Galeno has also secured four assists in his last four matches.
  • Oscar Gloukh (€5.1m) – Salzburg face Benfica this week, a team who have to win by two goals or more to secure Europa qualification. Benfica will have to go all out which could leave space for Gloukh. The 19-year-old is a huge talent and he’s also bagged two goals and one assist in his last three matches playing behind the striker.
  • Hakim Ziyech (€6.7m) – If Galatasaray win their upcoming match they will secure last 16 qualification. Motivation will be high against a poor Copenhagen defence and one player who could benefit is Ziyech. The Moroccan managed a massive 21 points in Matchday 5 for his hattrick. Ziyech also scored in the league match he played immediately after that game.
  • Jude Bellingham (€7.9m) – Whether you think he will start or not going without the highest owned played in the game could prove disastrous. Bellingham has managed three double-digit returns in four UCL matches and mustered up a whopping 12 goals and two assists in just 14 La Liga matches for Real Madrid.
  • Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (€9.5m) – Another side that have to win by two goals to progress is Braga. The Portuguese side have conceded two or more goals in four of their five UCL matches. The Georgian could take advantage of the space left behind. Kvaratskhelia recorded a massive 22 goal contributions last season.

Forwards

  • Erling Haaland (€11.6m) – Monitoring rumours of his absence in his latest Premier League match will be key this week. If fit the Norwegian is one of the best captaincy options for Matchday 6. However, if he is injured then there are some great replacements including the likes of Galatasaray’ Mauro Icardo (€9m), Real Madrid’ Rodrygo (€9.1m) and Napoli’ Victor Osimhen (€9.9m).
  • Harry Kane (€10.1m) – Bayern have been humbled recently by Frankfurt and Copenhagen which could give Tuchel all the motivation he needs to start his best team against a poor Manchester United defence. With that in mind Harry Kane could be another standout captaincy option for Matchday 6.
  • Santiago Gimenez (€7.6m) – Feyenoord have nothing to play for this week but they do face Celtic who have been awful this season. Rising star Gimenez is attracting some of Europe’ finest this season. The 22-year-old Mexican penalty taker has registered an eye-watering 18 goals and three assists in just 15 league matches so far.
