Transfers and gossip up to June 30th

As the leagues come to their conclusion around Europe and the rest of the world, many will be looking to buy, loan or sell players. We catchup with the transfers and gossip up to June 30th with the help of top tier source Fabrizio Romano and other reliable sources.

Overviewing the transfers and gossip up to June 30th can be a huge help for fantasy managers around the world. Whether it affects Fantasy Premier League, UCL Fantasy or another Fantasy game, we look at what the deal could mean for the player or team from a fantasy point of view.

Kai Havertz to Arsenal

Fabrizio Romano confirms that Kai Havertz has officially signed for Arsenal. The German international was utilised in a forward role by Chelsea and he managed to bag just seven goals and one assist in 35 Premier League matches.

Rumours suggest that Arteta will use Havertz in a midfield role. This could have an extremely negative impact on his appeal in FPL. This could also make the Arsenal attackers more of a rotation risk and thus less appealing.

Kim Min-jae to Bayern

Bayern have reached a verbal agreement with Kim-Min jae. The deal will last five years and the contract will be valid until 2028. The next step is for Bayern to pay the release clause. The South Korean centre-back is undergoing military training for his country at this time.

Kim-Min jae has been instrumental for Napoli who won the Serie A title this season. He was a key reason as to why the Italian side collected 18 clean sheets from 38 matches. UCL Fantasy managers could be more keen to invest in the Bayern defence next season with this signing.

James Maddison joins Tottenham

James Maddison has officially signed for Tottenham after a busy summer with plenty of offers from other clubs. The deal is worth £40m and will last five years. Maddison predominantly plays in a central attacking midfield role.

The English international proved his qualities last season in a poor side. He managed an impressive 10 goals and nine assists showing multiple routes to points in FPL. Maddison could be a very interesting prospect for managers and will no doubt gain suitors.

Fabio Carvalho edges closer to Leipzig

As we can see Fabio Carvalho is in Germany in order to undergo medical tests as a new Leipzig player. Liverpool want to keep the attacker long-term. Because of this the Reds have stated a no buy option clause in the deal.

The 20-year old first impressed in his 21/22 Championship campaign for Fulham where he scored 10 goals and eight assists. Leipzig have secured Champions League football for 23/24 so Carvalho’s price-tag could be an interesting one for UCL Fantasy managers.

Arsenal redirect their focus

Arsenal are now placing all of their concentration on a new centre-back. A bid of around €45-48m was submitted several days ago and is being discussed with Ajax. Arsenal are also scoping out another centre-back Micky Van De Ven.

Van De Ven is a 22-year-old Dutchman who plays for Wolfsburg. He claimed a goal, assist and helped his side collect 11 clean sheets in the Bundesliga last season.
