Transfer Deadline Day: Completed deals
The transfer window closes at 11pm this evening. With clubs pushing to close their final deals of the window we round up the biggest deals of Transfer Deadline Day which have been signed, sealed and announced.
Christian Eriksen – Brentford
After his cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 left him unable to play in Italy, Eriksen makes his return to the Premier League on loan at Brentford until the end of the season. In his last full season in the Premier League for Spurs Eriksen recorded eight goals, 12 assists and 15 bonus points from 35 appearances. In his seven Premier League seasons for Spurs Eriksen returned 1098 FPL points.
Wout Weghorst – Burnley
Burnley have announced the signing of Wout Weghorst as a replacement for Chris Wood who left for Newcastle earlier on in the window. Weghorst scored 70 goals in 144 games for Wolfsburg in three seasons as well as 45 times in 86 games for AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie before that.
Dejan Kulusevski – Spurs
Kulusevski has arrived at Spurs from Juventus. He has scored one goal and got three assists in his five starts and 15 substitute appearances in Serie A. He also made one appearance for Juventus in the Champions League where he scored a goal.
Rodrigo Bentancur – Spurs
Bentancur has arrived at Spurs on a contract which runs until 2026. He has won Serie A three times with Juventus. He is a defensive minded midfielder, playing in a similar style to Pierre Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp
Matt Targett – Newcastle
Matt Targett has gone on loan from Aston Villa to Newcastle for the remainder of the season. Targett had made 17 appearances for Villa so far this season, however the arrival of Lucas Digne has seen him lose his place in the Villa starting 11.
Deniz Undav – Brighton
Brighton have announced that they have signed Deniz Undav, however he will remain with Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. on loan for the rest of the season.
Donny van de Beek – Everton
Everton have signed van de Beek on loan from Manchester United for the remainder of the season. van de Beek had made just 7 appearances in the Premier League over the course of the season so far.
Jean-Philippe Mateta – Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have made their loan of Mateta permanent with a four and a half year deal.
Dan Burn – Newcastle
Brighton have announced that they have reached an agreement with Newcastle for the transfer of Dan Burn. Burn was a Newcastle season ticket holder as a child and wanted to be part of the Newcastle project.
