Top picks for GAFFR Gameweek 46
Here we are at the final day of the season! Every week our expert has provided you with players he thinks have the most potential. For one final time, @TomP_FF comes in to give you the top picks for GAFFR Gameweek 46.
It’s the final round so our Top picks can be extremely helpful to the GAFFR community. Knowing who the best players to buy are this week can help give you one last final push and hopefully finish on a rank and min-league position you are happy with.
Top Picks – Defenders – Leif Davis
Ipswich play their final game of the season at home this week. They come up against Huddersfield who have been woeful. With that in mind, who better to finish our GAFFR campaign with than Leif Davis. Davis has been one of the best assets in the game this season with a huge 20 goal contributions.
Junior Firpo
Leeds have a huge game ahead against Southampton which could be cagey. This could benefit Junior Firpo. Firpo has shown huge attacking threat this season and one example of that is the two assists he recently picked up against Middlesbrough.
Differential Pick – Luke Ayling
It’s all about attacking threat with our defenders this week as we head to Middlesbrough. Watford lay ahead, a side who have failed to score in three of their last five matches. As well as clean sheet potential Luke Ayling could well bag a goal contribution. The full-back has managed to register an assist in three of his last five matches which is reflective of how much potential he has.
Midfielders – Crysencio Summerville
Leeds will be eager to put Southampton to bed this week at home and there is a good chance we see plenty of goals. Crysencio Summerville has been a brilliant asset this season and one of the best in the game – scoring a mammoth 19 goals and creating nine assists.
Abdul Fatawu
Leicester will be hoping to hit the magic number of 100 points on the final day, and they could do that against a inconsistent Blackburn side. Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has managed a huge three assists and three goals in his last three league matches so has amazing form going into the final round.
Differential Pick – Omari Hutchinson
Ipswich face Huddersfield this week at home and after a fantastic performance against Hull recently, Omari Hutchinson has the potential to go big again. Hutchinson can be extremely explosive and we saw that with his two goals against Hull and two goals and one assist against Sheffield Wednesday.
Forwards – Jamie Vardy
After signing a one-year extension with Leicester, Jamie Vardy will be full of confidence on the final day. Vardy seems to have found a purple patch of form recently. In fact, the penalty taker has produced four goals and one assist in his last three matches.
Emmanuel Latte Lath
After a quiet start to the season, Emmanuel Latte Lath has been absolutely relentless recently in the Championship. Seven goals and one assist in his last five matches makes him one of the most in-form players in the league going into the final day.
Differential Pick – Liam Delap
Hull have an interesting fixture this week. The Tigers come up against one of the worst defences in the league and a side who have conceded four goals in their last two matches. Leading the frontline is Liam Delap who scored in his latest match against Ipswich.
