Defenders – Kyle Walker-Peters
Southampton have been inconsistent recently but they have still kept three clean sheets in their last six matches in all competitions. They have a very good chance to add to that this week as they face a Millwall side who have failed to score in three of their last four league games. With that in mind Kyle Walker-Peters remains a good option.
Leif Davis
Ipswich have a fixture against Birmingham up next, a side who although strong at home recently, have also lost both of their last two away matches whilst failing to score. This bodes well for an Ipswich defender, especially Leif Davis who continues to impress with a massive 12 assists this season already.
Differential Defender – Milan Van Ewijk
Coventry continue to climb up the table after edging past Stoke and keeping a clean sheet in the last round. They come up against Preston in the round ahead and with a home game next it could mean potential for Dutchman Milan Van Ewijk. Van Ewijk has also managed four attacking returns this season so has attacking potential too.
Midfielders – Crysencio Summerville
Leeds face Leicester next up which is a massive clash and could be one of the biggest we have seen this season. Leeds continue to net a huge amount of goals and the Foxes go into the game off the back of a 2-1 loss to Middlesbrough. With that in mind Crysencio Summerville remains a top pick, especially after hitting four goals and two assists in his last four matches.
Jack Clarke
Sunderland recently departed with their manager but their rough patch hasn’t prevented Jack Clarke from sustaining his fantastic campaign. He has a meeting with the Swans this week, a side who have lost four of their last five matches and conceded a huge 10 goals in the process.
Differential Midfielder – Ilias Chair
QPR desperately need to get out of the relegation zone and that could happen this week with a match against a very poor Rotherham side. In terms of results Rotherham have lost their last five matches on the bounce whilst also shipping between 2-4 goals in four of them. One player picking up some form recently is talisman Ilias Chair who has collected two goals and one assist in his last six games.
Forwards – Adam Armstrong
Southampton urgently need to bounce back after two losses in their last three matches. They have a great opportunity to do exactly that against 21st place Millwall. With just one goal in his last four matches many within the community believe Adam Armstrong is due, especially because of his return rate this season – 16 goals and 11 assists.
Haji Wright
Coventry have a great home game against a Preston side who have conceded two goals in two of their last four matches. One of their most in-form attackers is Haji Wright. Wright has managed three goals in his last four matches in all competitions and goes into the next game high in confidence.
Differential Forward – Kieffer Moore
Ipswich continue to score goals, 10 in their last three matches in fact. Leading the lethal frontline recently is Kieffer Moore who has netted four goals since joining the club five matches ago. A game against a poor Birmingham side when playing away from home recently is enough to warrant his place in our teams.
