Kyle Walker-Peters
Southampton have a double Gameweek this week against West Brom and Hull. This makes their assets even more appealing than they were. The standout Southampton defensive option is of course Kyle Walker-Peters who has managed two goals and two assists this season. He has also been rested in both recent cup matches so should be ok to start both.
Leif Davis
Ipswich also have two games this week. They come up against Swansea and Rotherham so they too could have massive potential in the upcoming round. They have slipped down the table slightly recently but the double means Leif Davis is an absolute essential. Davis has reached a huge 11 assists in the league this season so has massive attacking potential.
Differential Defender Pick – Harry Clarke
Another great option in the Ipswich backline is right-back Harry Clarke who seems to have solidified his position within the team. Clarke also has attacking threat with one goal and four assists already this season. Clarke could be a great addition to an Ipswich triple up this week.
Midfielders – Sammie Szmodics
Our next pick could well be a standout option for captaincy this week. Blackburn have a lovely double Gameweek against Preston and Cardiff this week and the best way to target their defence is Sammie Szmodics. The Irishman has collected a huge 17 goals and three assists this season already.
Crysencio Summerville
Leeds may have just one fixture this week but they also have a meeting with a poor Plymouth side who have conceded a huge 50 goals so far. The standout Leeds attacker is still Crysencio Summerville. Summerville has been excellent for most of the season and more recently has managed four attacking returns in his last two matches.
Differential Midfielder Pick – Tom Fellows
West Brom also have two matches this week, one against a tough Southampton and one against the poor Plymouth. 20-year-old Tom Fellow has started the last two matches for the Baggies – scoring in his most recent match against Ipswich.
Forwards – Brandon Thomas-Asante
Leading the West Brom attack who sit fifth in the league is Brandon Thomas-Asante. Brandon Thomas-Asante has been one of West Brom’ most effective attackers this season – netting nine goals and registering two assists this season. His double Gameweek could mean plenty of potential in the round ahead.
Adam Armstrong
Owning the best striker in the league is a must this week. Adam Armstrong could be the go-to captain this week. The Saints man has bagged a whopping 26 goal contributions this season and with two matches ahead he could pick up a hatful of points.
Differential Defender Pick – Kieffer Moore
Ipswich have two great fixtures to attack this week and leading the frontline is likely to be Kieffer Moore. The Welshman seems like a great fit for Ipswich and marked his debut start with a brace of goals against Preston recently.
