Top FPL points scorers of the season and recent weeks
A position-by-position breakdown of the top scorers for FPL points both recently and over the season so far.
Goalkeeper points
Alisson ranks high over all three time periods, as Liverpool kept eight clean sheets from ten matches before the 2-2 draw at Man City. Norwich stopper Tim Krul has two clean sheets and seven bonus points during his last four outings.
Defender points
As this studies the last six appearances of each player – rather than six Gameweeks – injured names like Ben Chilwell and Kieran Trippier appear. Removing those means the top four defensive spots of the last half dozen matches all belong to Liverpool. In particular, Trent Alexander-Arnold has pulled ahead of Joao Cancelo as being the season’s best defensive option.
Midfielder points
Son Heung-min is the highest scorer throughout all positions during the last four and six games. His consecutive hauls of 15, 12 and 21 came from six goals and an assist. Elsewhere, Sadio Mane is ahead of Mohamed Salah over the past six, whilst the recent hat-trick of Mason Mount places him high up.
Forward points
The goals may have dried up for Harry Kane but he still finds a way to get points flowing in. Ivan Toney has been in great form since returning to the starting line-up in Gameweek 28 and it’s interesting to see Teemu Pukki ranked so highly in all three lists. The Finn’s four goals from the last six matches have him one away from matching his 11 of two seasons ago.
Also, the lack of quality forward options is shown by so few exceeding 20 FPL points over their last four.
