Whether you’re chasing mini-league glory or looking for a rank boost, these hidden gems are well worth considering ahead of the weekend.
To do the above, we brought in five experts who are competing against each other for points. Each week we also take a look at their previous picks, and add their scores to the overall ranking. So, let’s dive in!
Note: All ownership stats are likely to change.
@FPL_ElStatto

“Francisco Evanilson – 4.4% ownership – Bournemouth – £5.8m – Bournemouth may not be in great form but striker Evanilson is – with four goals in his previous three matches. Fulham at home lies ahead this week, which could see him add to his recent form.
@FplRabbi

“Marco Asensio – 4% ownership – Aston Villa – £6.2m – After failing to start in their recent Champions League match, Asensio looks set to start v Southampton this week. Targeting the poor Saints backline could bring huge rewards this week, and Asensio could be among the success.
@FplShakenbake

“Kaoru Mitoma – 8.6% ownership – Brighton – £6.5m – Despite Southampton being the earliest team relegated, I think this Leicester team is even worse than them. Target Leicester and you won’t go far wrong this season”.
@FBLThinker

“Bruno Guimaraes – 3.3% ownership – Newcastle – £6.2m – He has a DGW and though not playing in advanced areas, he will benefit against the deep line defences of Crystal Palace and Manchester United, making him an alternative to obvious Newcastle picks”.
@FPLReaction

“Harvey Barnes – 1.4% ownership – Newcastle – £5.9m – The double makes Newcastle appealing this week, and whilst I was tempted by Anthony Gordon, I’ll be opting for Harvey Barnes. As well as starting the previous three matches, Barnes also returned in all of them.
Should we triple captain Isak in FPL this week? We come to a conclusion, taking into account lots of different factors.
