Top 10 Best Goalkeepers in UCL Fantasy So Far

The international break is here and for Europe’s biggest clubs football is on pause. So, we take the opportunity, with the help of the official UEFA website, to look back and reflect on the top 10 best goalkeepers in UCL Fantasy so far.

During the international break we will be continuing our coverage of UCL Fantasy. Keeping what has happened fresh in our minds could be hugely helpful for planning when the new round arrives. So, let’s take a look at the best goalkeepers in UCL Fantasy so far, counting down from 10th.

6th-10th

Filling up the 10th and 9th spot is Lille’s Lucas Chevalier (€4.5m) and Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel (€5m). Seven of Chevalier’s nine points came from his sides heroic 1-0 win against Real Madrid. Kobel on the other hand bagged seven of his points in his opening match against Club Brugge.

In eighth is Brest’s Marco Bizot (€4.5m) with 10 points. Bizot banked eight of his points after keeping a clean sheet and saving an impressive six shots in his sides 4-0 victory against Salzburg.

One point behind him is seventh placed Peter Vindahl (€4.5m). Sparta Praha’s man between the sticks has accumulated 11 points in his first two games. Interestingly Vindahl hit six points against Salzburg in Matchday 1 for his clean sheet and then saved a huge 10 shots in a 1-1 draw against Stuttgart to collect five points.

In sixth is Atalanta’s Marco Carnessecchi (€4.5m). A clean sheet against both Arsenal and Shakhtar meant six points banked in each of his matches. He faces Celtic next up which could be a great opportunity to extend his form.

5th – Łukasz Skorupski

Safeguarding the goal for Bologna and breaking into the top five is Łukasz Skorupski (€4.6m). Although flopping to just one point against Liverpool in Matchday 2 the Pole managed a huge 11 points against Shakhtar in the opening round due to a clean sheet and penalty save.

4th – Lukáš Hrádecký

Leverkusen have started their League Phase perfectly. The German Bundesliga Champions have won both of their matches to nil which means man between the sticks Lukáš Hrádecký (€5m) has benefitted. His nine shots saved and two clean sheets means he has amassed a huge 14 points already.

3rd – Yann Sommer

Leverkusen aren’t the only side to take two clean sheets from their first two matches. In fact, Inter arguably did it better, after preventing 2022/23 Champions League winners Manchester City from scoring at home. This and a shutout against Crvena Zvezda recently takes Yann Sommer (€5.5m) to a total of 14 points thus far.

2nd – Emiliano Martinez

Sitting just behind top spot with 15 points is Emiliano Martinez (€4.5m). The Aston Villa goalkeeper was superb in his recent match against Bayern in which he kept them out. As well as keeping a clean sheet and making seven saves in Matchday 2 Martinez also kept a clean sheet against Young Boys in Matchday 1.

1st – David Raya

We finally arrive at top spot and it’s Arsenal’s David Raya (5.6m) who takes it with a huge 17 points. As well as keeping a clean sheet against both Atalanta and Paris the Spaniard also saved a penalty. With Shakhtar in Matchday 3, we could well see him continue his excellent form.
