The transfer window is open. This means that teams can now buy, sell or loan players players to help strengthen their squads ahead of the new campaign. It also means that FPL managers could be closely monitoring news and gossip for their season ahead.

When the transfer window is open news and gossip can have huge implications for FPL managers. Transfers can both strengthen and weaken the teams involved in the deal. This in turn can make a team more or less investable from and FPL managers point of view.
