The options- Mohamed Salah

Manchester United’s recent form is promising and their recent offensive stats are even more appealing. Amongst all teams in the last six matches they rank joint third for shots on target and fourth for attempts on goal.

Nottingham Forest lay ahead for Manchester United. The newly promoted side have been poor so far this season. They rank the second worst for goals conceded, the third worst for shots on target conceded and the third worst for shots in the box conceded. Nottingham Forest look to like a team to target.

Marcus Rashford (£6.7m) is enjoying some great form recently. The midfielder bagged three goals for England in his five World Cup matches whilst also scoring in two of his last three matches for Manchester United.

Conclusion

Marcus Rashford does look appealing but has not showed regular consistency to warrant him edging the other two options. Mohamed Salah could be a fantastic option but has shown inconsistencies this season and Aston Villa may limit the chances he gets.

Erling Haaland is once again, the standout captaincy option for Gameweek 17. Maintaining some fantastic stats, Haaland is in relentless form and going against him could prove disastrous to rank and mini-league positioning.
