Teams with the Best Fixtures in Gameweek 4

Last modified date

We take a look at the teams with the best fixtures in Gameweek 4. Using the Fantasy Football Scout members area we can access to the fixture ticker. With that we adjust the schedule to see which teams have the easiest and toughest in any given Gameweek.

Fixture difficulty plays a huge part in how FPL managers navigate the schedule. Knowing which teams have the best fixtures in Gameweek 4 can help to determine which teams we invest in and which players we choose in our team.

Gameweek 4 Fixtures

Below we can see the Fantasy Football Scout Fixture Ticker. The teams at the top have the easiest fixtures whilst the teams at the bottom have the toughest fixtures.

Who tops the ticker?

Manchester United sit first on the ticker heading into Gameweek 4. This may suggest that they could be a great team to invest in this week and that may be the case. However, after losing two of their first three matches the Reds have started the season questionably.

Most of Manchester United’s ticker appeal comes from the fact they face newly promoted Southampton this week. Three losses out of three, five goals conceded and just one goal scored shows the Saints have really struggled to settle into Premier League life.

Who else makes the top three?

Sitting second on the fixture ticker this week is Crystal Palace. The Eagles will be hoping to pick up their first win of the season after losing two and drawing one of their first three games. They have a great opportunity to do this as they meet with a newly promoted and winless so far Leicester side.

Also making the top three is Brighton. Starting their new campaign well the Seagulls have beaten both Everton and Manchester United, along with holding Arsenal to a draw. Brighton will be expecting to get more points on the board this week. They come up against an Ipswich side who have shipped seven goals since the start of the season.

Other teams with good fixtures

Another side who should not go amiss is Liverpool. After securing three wins from three the Reds appear to be in relentless form. Next up for them is Nottingham Forest who although beat Southampton they failed to pick up more than a point at home against Wolves and Bournemouth.

Aston Villa may have suffered defeat to Arenal but they beat both Leicester and West Ham away from home. Everton lay ahead next and after losing all three of their early matches and shipping three or more goals in the process they will be expected to take all three points.

Fulham have won one, drawn one and lost one so far. A home match against West Ham is their next meet and one they will feel they can get something from after a questionable start from the Hammers.

Which teams should we avoid?

Amongst the bottom three sides on the fixture ticker is Brentford. Other than their comfortable loss against title challengers Liverpool the Bees have played well – winning both of their other two matches. The issue they face this week however is that they come up against current Champions Manchester City away from home.

As mentioned above the next clash could be a good one for Liverpool. With that in mind Nottingham Forest could be a firm avoid in terms of investment. As well as three wins from three Liverpool have collected three clean sheets and racked up seven goals.

Tottenham are another side we could avoid this week. Mixed form so far suggests Tottenham are yet to find their feet and a fixture against London rivals Arsenal indicates that won’t change. Arsenal go into the match off the back of two wins and a draw in their first three games.
