Spurs v Wolves match report

Taking a look at line-ups, goals, assists, clean sheets and anything else we could highlight that could have implications for FPL managers between Spurs v Wolves. Covering eye test and key moments through-out the match with the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area.

Match reports can be helpful in identifying key moments in matches. This can then give us as FPL managers a good insight into which players and teams looked good, key injuries, fitness and even more to help us make decisions in FPL.

Line-ups

Spurs

£5.4m defender and Wing-back Perisic makes his start. The attacking defender is still owned by 17% of the game base. Managers still holding the player will be hoping for a return from him today.

Main attacking players Son, Kane and Kulusevski all start and all still remain in above 15% of managers teams.

Wolves

Brand new signing and £5m midfielder Nunes starts for his debut. FPL managers will be interested to see how he does today. Team mate and Wolves favourite Pedro Neto also starts. His 13% of managers will be hoping for anything as the midfielder has blanked in his first two matches for Wolves so far.

Key moments

  • Spurs’ Hugo Lloris registered nine points in the lunchtime kick off. The goalkeeper kept a clean sheet, registered a save point and two bonus points.
  • Ivan Perisic made his first start for Spurs. The defender registered a clean sheet, an assist and all three bonus points. He was however signalling about his hamstring just before his substitution, which FPL managers should keep an eye on.
  • Tottenham’s Son Heung-Min blanked again in Gameweek 3. He was substituted for Richarlison on 76 minutes. This is the second time that he has been substituted earlier than Dejan Kulusevski.
  • Harry Kane’s goal for Spurs v Wolves today saw him become the player who has scored the most for one club in Premier League history.
  • Wolves’ new signing Guedes had the most shots in the game with five. Kane had four and was in second.
  • Budget enabler Pedro Neto was second for crosses in the match with six. Only Son had more in the game with seven.
  • Jonny had more touches in the opponents half than any other player.
