Serie A Fantasy Round 35 Top Picks

After some interesting twists and turns in the latest round we look ahead. There are some great fixtures to attack this week. So, we bring in our regular contributor @FPL_Crisk to reel off his Serie A Fantasy Round 35 Top Picks.

@FPL_Crisk has become one of the most respected and seasoned managers in the world. Because of this checking out his Serie A Fantasy Round 35 Top Picks could be extremely beneficial, not just for the round fixtures ahead but also for long-term planning.

Goalkeepers – Marco Carnesecchi (€5.4m – 4.9%)

With back to back Europa League midweeks, Atalanta are guaranteed to rotate as much as possible against an already relegated Salernitana. Fortunately it seems that Musso is the nailed Cup goalie, which means Carnesecchi should easily get the Serie A fixture.

Wladimiro Falcone (€4.6m – 9.6%)

Only a last minute penalty ruined his chance of another clean sheet last time out. This new Lecce defend really well and rarely concede more than one goal. The Cagliari match should also be low scoring, as both teams should feel in a position in which sharing one point is the best case scenario. I predict a 0-0 or 1-1.

Defenders – Alessio Romagnoli (€5.8m – 12.1)

Lazio’ last five league matches have all been very low-scoring, with a maximum of one goal being conceded in each from Tudor’s team. Monza, on the other hand, have appeared very toothless as of late, probably because of the lack of motivation. Romagnoli is nailed to play 90 minutes, which should guarantee at least six points (or even more).

Berat Djimsiti (€5.0m – 17.5%)

I was about to choose Holm, who has been having a wonderful run of performances as of late. But, Scalvini is now back in the team and will allow Gasperini a safer rotation of his defenders. That said, Djimsiti has not started in only four games this season, so I’m counting on him to be a reliable source of points.

Midfielders – Ademola Lookman (€9.4m – 17.4%)

Gasperini’s starting forwards have changed a lot during the season. In the last few weeks Lookman has fallen behind an in-form Scamacca and the link-up quality of De Ketelaere. The two will probably start in the Europa League, which should lead to Lookman playing in the League in the best fixture available. I suggest checking the Atalanta line-up in UEL before making a decision on the former Leipzig player.

Hakan Calhanoglu (€8.6m – 15.0%)

Inter assets being usually split between defenders and forwards have made it so that the midfielders are surprisingly differential. The Turkish CDM is yet to fail a single penalty kick this season, and he’s also on most other set pieces. Mhkitarian (cheaper) is also a good option.

Forwards – Lautaro Martinez (€11.8m – 74.0%)

His goal drought has to come to an end against Sassuolo: the black&green team on the edge of relegation have been conceding lots of goals, and with a draw not being enough for them, they will need to attack, opening up for Inter’ fast counter attacks.

Olivier Giroud (9.0m – 38.5%)

Milan are definitely going through a bad period, not winning any of their last five games in all competitions. Also, they didn’t manage a single shot on target against a defensive team like Juventus. However, Genoa at home should be an easy enough fixture, as the visitors have nothing left to play for. Giroud was the hero as a goalkeeper in the reverse fixture, hopefully he repeats himself but on the other end of the pitch this time.
