Serie A Fantasy Round 34 Top Picks

After some interesting twists and turns in the latest round we look ahead. There are some great fixtures to attack this week. So, we bring in our regular contributor @FPL_Crisk to reel off his Serie A Fantasy Round 34 Top Picks.

@FPL_Crisk has become one of the most respected and seasoned managers in the world. Because of this checking out his Serie A Fantasy Round 34 Top Picks could be extremely beneficial, not just for the round fixtures ahead but also for long-term planning.

Goalkeepers – Yann Sommer (€5.8m – 28.5%)

Torino have failed to score in their last two matches. Inter have officially been crowned Champions of Italy. But I doubt we’ll see the Swiss goalkeeper being rested. Doubts over his form were raised in the last few weeks, but a wonderful performance in the derby showed once again why he’s one of the most underrated goalkeepers of the last few years.

Wladimiro Falcone (€4.6m – 9.6%)

Since Lecce changed their manager, Falcone has kept four clean sheets in five Rounds, conceding only to AC Milan. Mathematical safety from relegation is just a couple of points away. They now host a Monza side stuck mid-table without any end-of-season ambitions.

Defenders – Michael Kayode (€4.8m – 1.1%)

Beware of Fiorentina’ rotation this week. They will play in the Italian Cup on Wednesday, just 22 hours before the deadline, and then one midweek later they will face Brugges in the UECL semi-final. If the young Italian RB doesn’t start, he should be good to go for the weekend. Also, with Sassuolo in a crisis and Lauriente on his wing suspended, he’s the most exciting option from Fiorentina’ defence.

Nehuén Pérez (€4.2m – 6.1%)

The Round will start early with the last 20 minutes of Roma-Udinese (postponed from Round 32 due to Ndicka’s medical scare). We’ve been led to believe that the points from the first 72 minutes of the game will be added to the upcoming round. If it’s true, Perez was on a projected eight pointer and could provide a safe high score at a cheap price.

Teun Koopmeiners (€7.6m – 36.0%)

Another player whose minutes will depend from the Italian Cup and the UEL fixtures surrounding Round 34. He’s been getting a couple of rests as of late, which could lead to Gasperini using him in back to back games in this never-ending run of matches.

Albert Gudmundsson (€6.2m – 33.6%)

One of the most brilliant surprises of the year, he’s due a move to a better team this summer. I trust Genoa to take care of Cagliari at home, and it’s always good to back the highest scoring midfielder tied with Kvaratskhelia (who costs more than double the price).

Forwards – Walid Cheddira (€5.4m – 2.1%)

I was debating picking Soulé as the token “attacker facing Salernitana of the week”. But the Moroccan striker is in much better form than the Juve loanee, who hasn’t scored since February. Cheddira has five goals in the same period, and has a chance of stealing penalties from Soule after the Argentinian missed his last one.

Dusan Vlahovic (10.0m – 44.5%)

He returned to the scoresheet from a free kick last round, now he faces a Milan defence without Tomori, Theo Hernandez or Calabria. He might look inconsistent, but he still has 16 league goals which is nothing to be laughing about.
