Serie A Fantasy Round 26 Top Picks

The new season continues so we reveal the Serie A Fantasy Round 26 top picks. Regular contributor and Serie A expert @FPL_Crisk comes in to pick out two of the best players in each position for the new round.
It isn’t long before the new Round commences. So, knowing which players have the most potential could be hugely beneficial. It could also help with other parts of the game including captaincy, chip strategies and long-term transfer plans.
Goalkeepers – David De Gea (€5.2m – 39.4%)

I hate to put in a goalkeeper after a defeat, but the fixture for De Gea is there. Verona do not look threatening without their main striker Tengstedt, while Kean’s return should boost Fiorentina helping them to control the match.
Mile Svilar (€4.8m – 31.3%)

Roma are in very good defensive form, keeping a clean sheet in both their last Serie A matches and ranking 2nd best for xGC during the last four fixtures. They will be hosting arguably the worst attack in the league, in what should be a very easy 9+ pointer for Svilar.
Defenders – Sam Beukema (€5.0m – 12.9%)

The safest pick (maybe outside of Skorupski) from Bologna’s defence is a very solid option for the double, as I believe defenders benefit way more from the double round format than others. Their first match is against Parma, who are totally out of form, and have just sacked Pecchia, and appointed Chivu. It’s the first senior club job for the Romanian.
Kyle Walker (€6.0m – 0.7%)

I’m writing this in the aftermath of Milan’s UCL elimination at the hands of Feyenoord, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the French LB got punished for his red card by managed minutes during the weekend, but with Walker injured I do not know which the Milan manager will trust (maybe Pavlovic).
Midfielders – Ademola Lookman (€9.8m – 69.2%)

The Nigerian star has missed the last few Rounds due to an injury. However, he returned to the field in the UCL midweek match against Brugge (and only needed 40 seconds to get back on the scoresheet). He is very likely to hit the field in the League too. If you have De Ketelaere, you might be ok keeping the Belgian for one more week just in case, but if you kept Lookman all this time it could be the right time to start him again, and hopefully see some returns against a very weak Empoli side.
Dan Ndoye (€6.6m – 5.5%)

Orsolini is back in the squad, and I was myself tempted to bring him in. However we all know Italiano by now, and the Bologna captain could be at risk for minutes in the double. Ndoye is in great form after a brace last week. I feel like his minutes are just a bit safer, at least for this Round. But again, with Italiano you never know who to trust.
Forwards – Moise Kean (€5.8m – 61.6%)

Kean had a “good” rest last week due to his suspension in Fiorentina’s defeat to Como. Palladino’s team will want to bring their “A game” against Verona, a team who have conceded nine more goals than any other Italian side this season.
Santiago Gimenez (€8.0m – 1.9%)

Santiago has had a great start in terms of performance with the AC Milan jersey. He has now scored three goals in all competitions, and should be pretty much safe from rotation.
