Serie A Fantasy Round 26 Top Picks
Round 25 saw wins for teams including Inter, Roma, Atalanta and also Monza who dismantled Milan in a 4-2 victory. We also saw a huge clash between Lazio v Bologna of which the visitors won 2-1. Now we look to our expert @FPL_Crisk as he provides us with the Serie A Fantasy Round 26 top picks.
Before we take a look at who makes the cut this week, we need to highlight how important this article could be for managers. Knowing who the Serie A Fantasy Round 26 top picks are could be hugely beneficial when it comes to mini-league position and overall rank. That is because it can help with things like transfers and captaincy.
Yann Sommer (€5.8m – 26.2%)
Round 26 is a double for six teams, Inter being one of them. Since they also face Lecce in one of the two fixtures, I am comfortable in saying that owning two Inter players is a must. My first choice goes to Sommer, as he’s still the highest scorer in the game, and likely the first to reach the 200 points mark.
Vanja Milinkovic-Savic (€6.0m – 15.9%)
As last week, Milinkovic-Savic is the second best option if your Inter players are outfielders. Roma and Lazio are not easy fixtures. But, with clean sheet points being given in each half, it’s easy too see how the Serbian goalkeeper can still perform very well in the double.
Alessio Romagnoli (€5.8m – 12.0%)
The Lazio captain was suspended for Round 25, leaving him fresh for 180 minutes in the double Round. Napoli defenders also work very well, but sacking Mazzarri to hire the unexperienced Calzona gives an aura of uncertainty around the form of the team.
Raoul Bellanova (€5.2m – 5.3%)
Most things that were said about Milinkovic-Savic can be repeated for Bellanova. He’s not guaranteed to play the full 90 minutes like the CBs (all injured for the double), but he can compensate with attacking returns.
Andrea Colpani (€5.4m – 32.5%)
The only player in this list without a double fixture this Round, but there’s a good reason for it. Monza have impressed against Milan, and now face Salernitana who had one of the worst performances I have ever seen against Inter on Friday. They didn’t have a shot on target, and were super leaky in defence.
Teun Koopmeiners (€7.4m – 28.3%)
He returned to the scoresheet last weekend, and I feel like against Milan and Inter his minutes are pretty safe. Him being on penalties makes me like him a little bit more than De Ketelaere.
Lautaro Martinez (€11.6m – 69.4%)
Probably the best captaincy option of the whole Round. No other forwards in Serie A come close to his output in terms of goals. He is literally a must-own, the chance he blanks in the round ahead are very very slim.
Victor Osimhen (€12.4m – 78.2%)
He missed out on last weekend’s game due to his fitness not being at his best. He’s predicted to return in time for the weekend, and while the whole Napoli squad is in chaos, his fixtures are very good from an offensive point of view: Sassuolo and Cagliari are both in the worst four positions in terms of points and goals conceded. Regardless of the manager, Osimhen remains a top player who can easily haul.
