Serie A Fantasy Round 22 Team Reveals

Italian League football continues this week so in this article we take a look at some Serie A Fantasy Double Round 22 team reveals. We brought in some top Serie A Fantasy managers to share their teams, their thoughts and talk captaincy for the new round.

Our Serie A Fantasy Double Round 22 team reveals could be extremely helpful for both new and existing fantasy managers. Knowing which players our experts are choosing could help clarify some debates and decisions in our own teams.

Serie A Fantasy Round 22 Team Reveals

Plans

  • With Christian Pulisic returning in the second half of Milan’s 1-0 Champions League win over Girona, my only real dilemma this week is what to do with Charles De Ketelaere. The fact he played 90 minutes in midweek suggests he’s unlikely to play the full game against Como and may even get benched.
  • I may look at upgrading De Ketelaere to Paulo Dybala with Alexis Saelemaekers as the makeweight. However, Roma’s Belgian midfielder continues to post impressive underlying numbers, so I may just play Santiago Castro (who has a decent enough fixture this week) instead if we get concrete news of De Ketelaere’s absence.
  • Captaincy will probably go to one of my Milan contingent. Although, their recent league form is concerning. Ademola Lookman is also an option away to Como.

Plans

  • I picked up 64 points in round 21 which meant a red arrow (down to 47th now). It’s still a good rank, but I need to push more for the top 10.
  • CDK played 90 mins in the UCL, so I don’t think he’ll start, or play more than 45 minutes. Yildiz and Lookman were largely rested, so he’s my first transfer out this round.
  • My second transfer will be Pinamonti (I’m keeping Pulisic as MIL have very good fixtures after the derby).
  • I’ll get Retegui and Zaccagni with my two ft. If Pulisic is out I’ll get Frendrup/Yildiz off the bench.
  • Captaincy: Theo cap and Sommer vice.

Serie A Fantasy Round 22 Team Reveals

Plans

  • This is my team currently. At first glance, rolling the transfer makes sense. But, De Ketelaere is unlikely to start. In fact, Retegui looks nailed to start after playing just 45 minutes midweek.
  • I like the Belgian, but I prefer Retegui, not only is he much cheaper (€3m less), he is also probably going to have a similar or better season than CDK overall.
  • If CDK misses out this week, or features late, he’s likely to do exactly the same next week too, due to the Wednesday round of Champions League coming up.
  • Nailing an Atalanta duo could be crucial with their excellent fixtures ahead. So, prioritising my transfers for that could be key.
  • If I did make the switch between CDK and Retegui, It would mean transferring out a striker. Lautaro, Kean and Castro all fill my frontline, and all have excellent fixtures.
  • It could be that I lose Castro, which I don’t think is a huge loss, and bring in Zaccagni, or I could opt for Saelemaekers for Roma’ nice run of games.
  • Milan look appealing for captaincy, I just don’t trust them. So, at the moment, I have the captaincy on Sommer.
  • Good luck!

Plans

  • I wanted to keep rolling, but Orsolini being out for about a month is very annoying to deal with. I don’t want to miss out on Bologna’s great fixtures (with also one double Round somewhere in their future), so I am very likely to make a horizontal move into Dan Ndoye, whose minutes should improve without Orsolini. He has also taken a pen when the skipper wasn’t on the pitch.
  • I will start Pulisic since he had about 25 minutes of gametime in the UCL on Wednesday.

@FplRossoneri

Plans

  • For this GW in Serie A Fantasy, I was initially planning to save the Free transfer before Orsolini got injured. Now, I will monitor Pulisic’s condition and if he’s fit, bring him in.
  • Outside of that all of the usual suspects have some good fixtures, especially Inter, Milan and Atalanta.
  • For captaincy, I am playing it safe with the Torino GK due to a plum home fixture vs Cagliari.
