Serie A Fantasy Round 2 Team Reveals

Italian League football continues this week so in this article we take a look at some Serie A Fantasy Round 2 team reveals. We brought in some top Serie A Fantasy managers to share their teams, their thoughts and talk captaincy for the second round.

Our Serie A Fantasy Round 2 team reveals could be extremely helpful for both new and existing fantasy managers. Knowing which players our experts are choosing could help clarify some debates and decisions in our own teams.

Notes

  • When I made my team in Round 1, my intention was to stockpile a couple of free transfers in the first few weeks. This is still the plan, as I deem my previous week team good enough for Round 2.
  • No huge changes, my only doubt is whether to play Bonny as I feel Parma’s counter-attacking ways could put a dent in Milan’s backline. If I do, Buongiorno would be the player I’d sub out for him.
  • Captaincy is momentarily on Lautaro, I’m hoping he could pull off the performance a similar player Retegui had in the first match, but I could also twist to Bremer.

Notes

  • After a great start in GW1 with 77 points, my plan is to roll the transfer.
  • Lookman was the one transfer I was planning but we got news that he’s back in training after the PSG transfer fell through.
  • I have gone with a standard 442 for GW2 with Martinez partnering Dobvyk again up top, he’s also going to be my captain.
  • Zaccagni, Pulisic, Yildiz and Soule make up the midfield.
  • Caldirola comes in for their game against Genoa.

Notes

  • Round 1 was 59 points for me which is actually decent with many assets benched, especially the premium defenders.
  • For MD2 I will be rolling the transfer as I have an okay bench (the likes of Frendrup or Ederson can always get 5-7 points) which will give me two free transfers and more info next week.
  • Captaincy is on Di Lorenzo for now, a home game is good for a defender (although with Napoli’s performance in the first game I am not so sure), but I am taking the risk.

Notes

  • It wasn’t an ideal first round for me with Hernandez not starting, Isak not starting and Kvaratskhelia coming off far too early. In fact, if it wasn’t for captain Bremer I would probably be in trouble.
  • The one part of my team I’m not overjoyed about this week is not having a Lazio attacker who will start. My thinking behind Isaksen ahead of the season was that I didn’t trust Lazio and I thought Isaksen would start. I was wrong with both in the first round.
  • If Kvaratskhelia is out then I may be tempted to switch him to Zaccagni. Although, statistically he wasn’t great in the first round, penalty duty and minutes are his biggest appeal.
  • If Kvaratskhelia is fine to start, Hernandez too, then I’m likely to roll my transfer.
  • Frendrup is my first sub, I’d expect him to do well against Monza for underlying data points, he also had a shot on target in the last match so you never know!
  • My captain will be Lautaro Martinez. I would also consider Sommer against the same opposition, and maybe a Roma player.
  • Currently on my watchlist after putting up some excellent stats are the likes of Orsolini, Biraghi, Castellanos, Retegui, Ruggeri, Camiassso and Yildiz.
  • Good luck!
