Serie A Fantasy Round 15 Team Reveals

Notes

  • With Lazio facing tricky fixtures until the New Year, Mattia Zaccagni will probably be my transfer out this week. Morten Frendrup is the most likely replacement with an eye on the blank in GW19. Although, I could also roll the transfer into GW15.
  • If Frendrup comes in then he will likely take either Theo Hernández’s or Christian Pulisic’s place in my starting XI. Milan face a tough fixture away at high-flying Atalanta and have been inconsistent performers under Paulo Fonseca.
  • Inter have one of the most favourable matchups this week, so either Yann Sommer or Lautaro Martínez will take the captaincy.

Notes

  • I have just one transfer planned for this week, which is Kean coming in for Che Adams. The Torino striker has been disappointing and I don’t want to double up on the team, not even with them playing in the blank.
  • Kean is the striker with the highest xG in the league, and I suppose I need to have him to cover Fiorentina’s good run of games ahead.
  • Captaincy is once again on Di Lorenzo.

Notes

  • Round 14 (79) was good despite three players from the Inter vs Fiorentina match blanking. I’m up to 92 OR now.
  • My transfer plan is to get a defender from Roma, (Viti out) for their next three rounds (Lecce H, Como A, Par A) as I see them getting at least four clean sheets.
  • Captaincy: One of Sommer/Gatti will be my captain (leaning towards Sommer as he’s nailed for 90 min).
  • My future plan is to roll the transfer (four transfers) to prepare for the double and blanks coming after several rounds.
  • One of Retegui, Yildiz, or Lookman will be benched for the Roma defender once the transfer is made.

Notes

  • The biggest note from the fixtures, is that Milan face Atalanta this week, which is a big game for my team. I’m that convinced we’ll see a goal fest that I have decided to bench Theo Hernandez.
  • I currently have two free transfers, if I roll this week then I’ll have three next. I think based on my team, rolling would be the move to make.
  • Rolling transfers is going to be really important for the upcoming Blank Round in 19. As well as owning 11 players who play, I want to own the players who have great fixtures during that round too.
  • My captaincy armband is very much between Lautaro and Sommer. The postponement of the previous match makes me think Lautaro will start and get a considerable amount of minutes.
  • Good luck!

Notes

  • My team for GW15 looks like this!
  • I am planning to save another FT (makes it 3FTs) as I don’t have any pressing issues to address, Tavares looks like he will be back but he will be on the bench for me along with Zaccagni as Lazio play Napoli away!
  • Orsolini is also on the bench as he’s picked up an injury during a midweek Coppa Italia game.
  • I plan to start with a 433 formation with all three forwards having decent fixtures especially Kean and Martinez.
  • Yildiz, Lookman and Pulisic make up my midfield and I have the usual suspects at the back.
  • For captaincy I am looking at Gosens, Kean and Martinez.
