Serie A Fantasy Round 14 Top Picks

Last modified date

We look to our expert @FPL_Crisk as he provides us with the Serie A Fantasy Round 14 top picks. Round 13 saw wins for Napoli, Bologna, Milan, Salernitana and Frosinone. We also saw a big clash between Juventus and Inter that ended 1-1.

Before we take a look at who makes the cut this week, we need to highlight how important this article could be for managers. Knowing who the Serie A Fantasy Round 14 top picks are could be hugely beneficial when it comes to mini-league position and overall rank. That is because it can help with things like transfers and captaincy.

Goalkeepers – Lukasz Skorupski (€5.0m – 14.2%)

Bologna have been surprisingly good at keeping clean sheets this season. The goalkeeper is only second to Sommer in terms of points (only five behind), so an away trip to Lecce is a good occasion to close the gap since the Swiss will be busy in a head-to-head against Napoli.

Marco Silvestri (€5.0m – 3%)

Verona are the worst team in the league in terms of chance creation. In addition, Udinese are a much better team at home in front of their fans. I can see Silvestri getting 6+ points this week.

Defenders – Gleison Bremer (€5.8m – 34.9%)

He is one of the only three players to have surpassed the 100 points milestone. With Danilo still a doubt, he’s as nailed as you can get for one of the most defensive teams in Europe.

Theo Hernandez (€6.8m – 45.7%)

Tomori would have probably been a more sensible option for a Milan defender, but with the absence of Giroud due to suspension Hernandez is the main penalty taker for the ‘Red and Black’. And, with no backup LB, he’s as nailed and fixture proof as you can get.

Midfielders – Nico Gonzalez – (€6.8m – 29.2%)

Salernitana just got themselves a victory against Lazio, but are still bottom of the table. With the UECL qualification almost in their hands, Fiorentina need to bounce back in the league, and Nico Gonzalez is both on penalties and the main attacking threat of his team.

Morten Frendrup (€4.4m – 5.8%)

Probably the most reliable cheap player in the game. He has played every single Serie A minute this season, and has failed to record 5+ points only one time, and it was in Round 2. Gudmundsson is also a great shout if he manages to be fit in time for the weekend.

Forwards – Ciro Immobile (€10.4m – 17.3%)

Lazio lost but he was still on the scoresheet. With an amazing run of fixtures on the horizon and Zaccagni injured, Immobile is easily one of the best assets from Lazio right now. The UCL clash of last night (which hasn’t happened yet at the time of writing this piece) will probably add more context to this pick.

Lautaro Martinez (€11.2m – 59.6%)

It’s pretty clear by now that this is his season. He is consistent, fixture proof and a level above everyone else in the game especially between the forwards (almost 40 points between him and Giroud, who’s third place). If we’ve come to the point that I, a die-hard AC Milan fan, am suggesting him even in one of the top three toughest fixtures of the season, then you have to realize he’s really a must-have.
