Serie A Fantasy Round 11 Top Picks

We look to our expert @FPL_Crisk as he provides us with the Serie A Fantasy Round 11 top picks. Round 10 saw wins for Juventus, Inter, Atalanta and Lazio along with a thrilling 4-3 victory for the struggling Cagliari against Frosinone. But who could go big in the new round?

Before we take a look at who makes the cut this week, we need to highlight how important this article could be for managers. Knowing who the Serie A Fantasy Round 11 top picks are could be hugely beneficial when it comes to mini-league position and overall rank. That is because it can help with things like transfers and captaincy.

Goalkeepers – Michele Di Gregorio (€5.4m – 6.0%)

Di Gregorio owners will feel so rich right now, as the Monza goalkeeper has already risen in price three times (he was only worth 4.8m at the start of the season). He’s a great player to field this weekend against a poor Verona side.

Rui Patricio (€5.0m – 19.4%)

Roma are recovering their defenders piece by piece, and against Inter they managed to resist a fully one-sided game for over 80 minutes, in part thanks to some great Rui Patricio saves. Lecce have been poor in attack recently, so this might be the chance for Roma to get an elusive clean sheet.

Defenders – Riccardo Marchizza (€4.4m – 2.5%)

Frosinone just conceded four goals to Cagliari, but this wouldn’t stop me from trusting their players against the least prolific attack in the league. Marchizza is cheap, usually plays the whole game, and comes with some nice attacking potential in the form of three assists already this season.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo (€7.2m – 38.0%)

Despite Dia being a great striker, Salernitana’ offense has been pretty lacklustre. Di Lorenzo, despite not getting an attacking return since Round 2, found himself in very good positions in the second half vs AC Milan. If I owned him (which I do), I would be very positive about his potential this weekend.

Midfielders – Matteo Politano (€6.6m – 7.8%)

Now the highest scoring midfielder in the game, he’s in the form of his life, with three goals and three assists in the last five Rounds. I would suggest waiting for some team news before jumping on his bandwagon with UCL football a few days later, there could be some risk of rotation. In that case, Kvaratskhelia would be the standout pick.

Matias Soulé (€4.4m – 3.8%)

He was in this list last week, but I don’t care. He’s as cheap as you can get, extremely differential (look at that ownership!) and he just scored 19 points last round. With six goals in the last five games, he might have just become a viable captaincy option.

Forwards – Olivier Giroud (€8.6m – 18.4%)

Just like Politano, he could be at risk of rotation. Nevertheless, with Leao experiencing a goal drought and Pulisic to be assessed after a muscle issue against Napoli, he looks like the standout option from Milan’s attack. It also helps that he is on penalties for the team.

Romelu Lukaku (€5.0m – 27.0%)

Lukaku in Serie A is a very good flat-track-bully, having scored all his Serie A goals this season against the likes of Empoli, Cagliari, Frosinone and Torino. Lecce might just be the kind of team that allows Lukaku to score, with the Belgian giant being probably one of the very few strikers who can challenge Lecce’s defender Baschirotto on a physical level.
