Notes
- For the moment I’ve settled on this.
- I had Dybala as my premium midfielder but heavy rumours of him going to the Saudi Pro League made me go for Soulé (to profit from Roma’s good run of fixtures). This changed my premium pick to Kvaratskhelia who could be sold in Round 5 for an Atalanta midfielder.
- I could also still go for Pulisic and use the extra funds to slightly upgrade my budget picks.
- I have a back-five formation as I went heavy on premium defenders.
- My captaincy is on Zaccagni who has the best overall fixture on paper.

Notes
- This is where I am at the moment!
- For my front three, Lautaro was non-negotiable, Dovbyk should do well for Roma and Kean is a enabler.
- In midfield I have a mix of reliable assets like Pulisic and Koopmeiners (even if he moves to Juventus), Soule is another pick I am excited about after last season.
- In terms of defenders I have kept it safe with Bremer and Theo who should bring in good points.
- Last but not least I have David De Gea who comes in with enabler Suzuki.

Notes
- Svilar is my first goalkeeper with the good opening fixtures. I want one def/gk from Roma.
- Suzuki is my second goalkeeper, he’ll be benched as I don’t think I need him but he’s cheap and nailed.
- The other two goalkeepers I wanted are De Gea and Sommer.
- Defenders – Bastoni is in as I want to cover the excellent Inter defence, he’s nailed for 90 mins and 0.4 less than Sommer.
- Theo, the most attacking defender in the game and Milan have some really good games.
- Napoli have some excellent fixtures in the opening six rounds, so I want a defender. I went Di Lorenzo as I’m not certain Spinazzola will play 90, if he does I’ll switch, he’s 1.6 cheaper and more attacking.
- The last two spots are Juve defenders, I want the Danilo-Bremer double.
- I wanted a Lazio defender (and could still go there by changing one from Juventus).
- Midfielders – Dybala is the only premium, he has good fixtures, set pieces and penalties.
- Zaccagni from Lazio is cheap and I like his fixtures.
- Ederson and Frendrup join as cheap enablers.
- I’m still undecided with the last spot, I put Zaniolo there but it may change depending on the transfers and the predicted XI.
- Forwards: – Lautaro Martinez is the only premium forward here and to cover the Inter attack.
- Kean he’s cheap, nailed and I can bench him any round.
- Brenner will be my third bench player.
- I’m pretty happy with this team, the only thing missing is probably a Milan attacker (I left 0.8 and can downgrade DI Lorenzo to get Pulisic in for Zaniolo if needed).

Notes
- Finding a reliable route into the Inter defence is key and the only player to be that is Sommer. It took me a while to get him in last season and I won’t make that mistake again. Suzuki is my bench goalkeeper and is likely to stay there for a while.
- I like the Napoli fixtures and Spinazzola continues to play wing-back, he’s also cheap.
- Bremer is my Juventus defender, everyone needs one. You’ll notice I haven’t doubled on Juventus, this is because I want the flexibility to double up in defence.
- Theo Hernandez has good fixtures, 90 minutes and good attacking threat.
- Ndicka appears to be the most reliable route into the Roma defence and they have great fixtures.
- Bologna impressed last season defensively and they also have a good fixture in Round 3 when big teams have tough fixtures. So, Posch could be their most reliable defender.
- Christian Pulisic joins Soule in midfield for Milan and Roma attacking cover. Dybala could be leaving Roma so Soule is the most obvious replacement and a cheap way into the frontline.
- The Lazio fixtures are good so I have gone with Isaksen who seems to be starting most matches at just €5m.
- I need a premium in midfield and Kvaratskhelia is that. He is joined by legendary enabler Frendrup.
- Lautaro Martinez is a shoo-in, similar to Kean who has been hugely under-priced.
- Parma striker Bonny will likely be my third bench player for the foreseeable.
- Captaincy could shift between Bremer and Lautaro.
