Notes
- At the moment, I have three players I want to move out, and a couple I am not happy with: Sava (now a reserve for Udinese), Camarda (xMins low) and Scamacca (back from injury but xMins very low) are the first on my transfer list.
- I will start with a striker, as Roma have ok fixtures and Soulé looks pretty good long term. I also have Bastoni and Dimarco on my watchlist, but they play in roles I don’t need to address with my very few available transfers.

Notes
- I scored 84 points in GW7, which was enough to arrest my recent run of red arrows.
- With Christian Pulisic injured and Pervis Estupiñan doubtful, GW8 looks like it will be another round of firefighting. I’m hoping Estupiñan is fit enough to face Pisa, which would allow me to deal with Pulisic.
- There aren’t many standout replacements, with Luka Modrić or an Inter midfielder my most likely transfer in based on form and upcoming fixtures.
- Albert Guðmundsson is another player who needs to be moved on, but will likely get a further stay of execution due to issues elsewhere. I don’t think it’s worth taking a hit to remove him this week, particularly given how low-scoring forwards tend to be.
- The incoming Modrić is first up for captaincy this GW. He will be followed by Nico Paz, Francesco Acerbi, Marco Carnesecchi, Giovanni Simeone, Domenico Berardi, Riccardo Orsolini and Kenan Yıldız.

Notes
- I’m up to 55th in the world now after a fairly good round last week.
- This is my current set-up. Overall I’m quite happy with my squad and structure. However, I think it’s time I start to acknowledge my weak frontline. I currently have both Sanabria and Camarda who don’t regularly start. I mean, strikers aren’t great in this game, so it wouldn’t be terrible if I left them there. But, with points becoming tighter now, I want to maximise every single place in my team.
- Long-term I want to bring Pulisic into my team, but with the American now injured, I’ll have to revisit that move.
- I have €4m in the bank, and I like the look of Roma’ upcoming fixtures. Originally I did want one of their defenders, and still do. But, my backline looks pretty good for now.
- With the above in mind, I’ll look to take out Sanabria who is the most expensive of my two forwards. Replacing him will be Matias Soule. This would leave around €1.7m in the bank to eventually replace Camarda too.
- My first captain will be Pavlovic of Milan, then likely Paz, KDB, Carnasecchi, Brooke Norton-Cuffy, Soule and Yildiz!

Notes
- Last Gameweek went much better than expected. I had a green arrow despite having only 13 players starting.
- WC in GW5 went very well despite some unlucky injuries for Thuram, Kristensen and Pulisic.
- This week the transfer is pretty straightforward. Injured Pulisic will be out for a new midfielder.
- Modric, Dimarco and KDB are the players I am looking at. My favourite currently is the Milan midfielder because of his consistency. Modric scored at least six points in every game this season!
- I also like Leao as a pick this week, but unfortunately, he’s listed as a forward. I only have one FT, so the priority is on Pulisic. But I won’t lie that a -5 could be tempting to triple up on Milan vs Pisa at home.
