Notes
- My situation is similar to last week’s. I am very tempted by using a WC, but I’m still unsure on which players are must have long term in this format.
- Lucca is obviously not nailed, Scamacca wasn’t called up due to injury, while Pavlovic was early subbed and seems a minutes risk. Out of these three players I think I want to move out Pavlovic, as I am more confident in defenders outscoring forwards even on a bad day.
- Gabbia feels like a natural replacement, as the middle CB spot in AC Milan’s defence should be very nailed. I will try to hang on to this team until I am more sure on which players to target in a WC draft.
- Captaincy will be Camarda, Orsolini, Bremer/Yildiz, Gabbia, Dele-Bashiru, Carnesecchi and then Di Lorenzo. But, I’m hopeful to have at least an eight point captain by Sunday morning.

Notes
- Last week, I was ready to hit the wildcard button, but after hearing encouraging updates on the availability of a few key players, I decided to hold off.
- Instead, I moved out the injured Rrahmani and brought in Beukema – a move that paid off immediately, as he found the back of the net. That said, I’m still not fully satisfied with my squad, particularly in attack. On top of that, there are some uncertainties. Pavlović is nursing a minor knock, while Bremer could be rested after a demanding start to the season.
- For now, I’ll try to weather this round and likely postpone the wildcard decision until next week. For this gameweek, I’ll use my free transfer to replace the injured Scamacca. Thankfully, I’ve got enough in the bank to bring in Thuram, who has been in outstanding form. With Inter hosting Sassuolo in what looks like a favourable fixture, I’m expecting plenty of chances. Thuram also gives me a reliable backup captain option in case my Juventus players fall short.
- Good luck to everyone this gameweek!

Notes
- I have had a solid start to the season – currently around 500th, which I think is ok.
- Thankfully, I have had quite a easy start to the season in terms of injuries and minutes doubts, which is rare.
- I also have a good set-up. I didn’t think strikers were that good in this game due to the scoring system, and that seems to be the case, cheap strikers, premium midfielders and actively changing defenders could be a good plan moving forward.
- Anyway, Pavlovic could be an issue this week. Bologna are coming into a fantastic run of fixtures, so owning one of their defenders could be ideal. The issue is deciding which one will start every match.
- Annoyingly, I don’t have two goalkeeper options this week due to the fact they play at the same time. I tthink this is fine though. It’ll be a while before that happens again.
- Captaincy will start with my budget forward Camarda. Good luck this week!
