Serie A Fantasy Expert Team Reveal for Round 15

Round 14 saw victories for Juventus, Lazio, Roma and Inter. Get ready for the new fixtures as we take a look at a Serie A Fantasy expert team reveal for Round 15 provided by regular @FplRossoneriHe also shares his general thoughts around captaincy.

Checking out a Serie A Fantasy expert team reveal for Round 15 can be extremely beneficial for other fantasy managers. Twitter is full of some of the most experienced fantasy managers around so catching up with their plans could help bring clarity within our own teams.

Introduction

Welcome back to my GW15 team reveal for Serie A Fantasy. Here, I pen down my thoughts about the team, my transfers if any, and my captain for each upcoming GW.

Looking at GW14 first. I got 58 points with a GW average of 61 points. It was a small red arrow that took me from 556th to 795th in the world and still 4th in Germany after GW14.

The star of the Round for me was Cyril Ngonge who scored 15 points and in the jammiest of ways came off the bench for me since Nico Gonzalez did not feature in GW14. There are some good fixtures to target in GW15 for Inter, and Lazio.

Round 15 Team Reveal (subject to change)

Goalkeeper

  • Yann Sommer (€5.2m) – I did something I usually don’t advise, doing a transfer mid-week. But, the GK has been bothering me for some time now and this was the ideal chance to sort that out. Sommer has been by far the most reliable GK in Serie A this season both in terms of security of starts and source of consistent points. He currently sits atop of the list of GKs with the most points after GW14 with seven double-digit hauls to boast in just 14 GWs.

Defenders

  • Giovanni Di Lorenzo (€7.2m) – I did expect some return from Di Lorenzo in GW14. However it was not to be as he finished with just one point as Inter thrashed Napoli 3-0 in their own stadium. Another tough game coming up away to an inform Juventus side and at his premium price I can’t think about benching him so he starts again in GW15.
  • Theo Hernandez (€6.8m) – My second defender for GW15 will be Theo Hernandez from AC Milan. Milan won at home 3-1 vs Frosinone in which Theo ended up getting seven points. Theo is slowly starting to show why he is the second most expensive defender in this game. I hope he continues his form in the upcoming games. Theo and Milan now play Atalanta and I hope he can again bring in some good points.
  • Luca Caldirola (€4.8m) – My third defender in GW15 will be Caldirola from Monza. He is a decent source of points whenever I have play him. Monza are known to be a resilient team that are difficult to break down especially when they play at home. Caldirola and Monza will be playing Genoa at home in GW15 and it poses as a great opportunity to play him and hopefully bag some good points in the process.
  • Danilo (€6.2m) – My fourth and final defender in GW15 will be Danilo from Juventus. He is back almost fully fit after a long injury layoff. He came on as a sub in GW14 and played around 20 minutes and should be in contention to start in GW15. When Danilo is on the pitch he is the mainstay in the Juventus backline contributing not just via defensive actions but getting some goal contributions as well in the process.

Midfielders

  • Andrea Colpani (€5.2m) – My cheap enabler is Colpani for GW15 as Monza play Genoa at home. At just a 5m he already has six goals and one assist in 14 starts in a good Monza team. I expect him to keep going with his form in the coming GW against Cagliari at home. Colpani has scored all of his six goals at home so expect a good performance from him.
  • Morten Frendrup (€4.4m) – My second cheap enabler is Frendrup. He is quietly going about his business at least from a fantasy perspective. He now has racked up 84 TBIs in just 14 games which is the highest in the league by 27 TBIs and gives owners the assurance that no matter what he can always get anywhere between 5-7 points every GW. Frendrup be up against Monza in GW14 and I expect a load of TBI points again at the very least. He is also one of the few MIDs who has played every single minute of the season.
  • Nicolas González (€6.8m) – One of my FTs last week was González but unfortunately I had Dejavu from last season where he was benched again. In 12 Games he has six goals and one assist and has notched up 86 points in Serie A Fantasy. At just 6.8m price he offers great value. Fiorentina will play Roma in GW15 and given their good win vs Salernitana in GW14. I do expect another good team performance which will hopefully have González featuring from the start.

Forwards

  • Romelu Lukaku (€9.2m) – Lukaku now has six goals and one assist in 11 starts for Roma. He is also sharing the role of talisman with Paulo Dybala. Lukaku only got an assist in the last three games but I do expect him to come good against a Fiorentina side known to concede goals. Roma will play Fiorentina in GW15 and Lukaku will look to make his mark especially playing at home in front of the beloved Roma fans.
  • Lautaro Martinez (€11.2m) – Martinez looks a level above everyone else at the moment in Serie A given he has 13 goals and two assists in just 14 games for Inter. Lautaro scored yet again vs Juventus in GW13 and assisted in the win vs Napoli in GW14. I expect some fireworks again when Inter play Udinese in GW15. Lautaro is a firm hold given his form and is a great captaincy option for GW15.
  • Ciro Immobile (€7.2m) – Immobile was my FT last GW and even though he did not score I still feel getting him in early before he goes on a run in terms of getting goals is a viable option. Immobile looks to be back in form scoring a brace to help Lazio qualify to the next round in UCL. He also scored in the GW13 and I can see Immobile getting regular mins. He is also a decent shout for Captaincy this week when Lazio play Verona away.

Captaincy

At the moment of writing this article it is currently on Lautaro Martinez for reasons I have mentioned above. Ciro Immobile is also in the running for captaincy as things stand.

As per usual, I will try and let everyone know on Twitter before the deadline so make sure you are following me on there @FPLRossoneriNick

That’s it for my GW15 team reveal, See you in GW16. Until then best of luck for GW15 in Serie A Fantasy, may all your arrows be green.
