Premier League transfers up to the 6th of January

The illustrious transfer window is now open. Teams can now buy, sell and loan players right up until the end of the month to try to improve their squads. For that reason we take a look at the latest Premier League transfers up to the 6th of January with the help of Twitter.

Looking at the transfers up to the 6th of January can be really helpful to managers. The transfer window can be detrimental for teams looking to improve their squads and this can have a huge affect on Fantasy Premier League. New signings can affect multiple factors like team structure, player minutes and can impact the decisions we make as fantasy managers.

Jack Butland to Manchester United

One of the most recent signings to be finalised is Jack Butland to Manchester United. Butland has officially signed as part of a loan deal until June with the feeling that he will remain as the number two goalkeeper behind David De Gea.

At the time of writing, Fantasy Premier League are yet to give Butland a price-tag. However, it is very likely the backup goalkeeper will be considerably cheaper than David De Gea. Butland could become an interesting option if the Spaniard was to pick up an injury.

Mislav Orsic to Southampon

As you can see, it looks inevitable that Southampton sign Croatian striker Mislav Orsic for £6m. The Saints have been lacking firepower this season so this could be a fantastic edition to the squad and a much needed lift for the fans.

Mislav Orsic had a very strong World Cup campaign where he helped Croatia take third place. The striker bagged a goal and two assists for his efforts. In the Croatian league, Orsic has also been fantastic. In the 15 matches he has played he picked up eight goals and five assists.

Benoit Badiashile to Chelsea

Chelsea have made a busy start to their transfer window. The Blues are under new ownership and Todd Boehly has insisted he is looking to invest in young players. That shows with this piece of business as Benoit Badiashile is just 21-year-old.

The young Frenchman has played in a back four and a back three which suits Chelsea’s chopping and changing between a back three and four. Benoit Badiashile comes with promise and has already played for his country in the Nations League.

Rory Wilson to Aston Villa

Another team that is planning for the future is Aston Villa. As we can see Rory Wilson has signed his first professional contract with the Premier League side. The 17-year-old looks to have plenty of potential moving forward.

Scotsman Rory Wilson moved to the midlands after netting a huge 49 goals for club and country. It may be a little to early to think about Rory Wilson in FPL. However, the striker is definitely a player to monitor.

Mateusz Klich

One of the biggest exits from the Premier League involves Leeds. Polish international Mateusz Klich has been an integral part of the Leeds midfield for several years now. However, Klich leaves to join MLS side DC United on a permanent deal.

Kevin Schade to Brentford

Brentford have been impressive this season, beating some of the best teams in the league and things look to be improving. As we can see they have signed promising young attacker Kevin Schade, beating other Premier League clubs to the deal.
