Premier League fixtures released 2022/23
This morning the Premier League have released the fixtures for the new season. Here we look at who plays who and our early thoughts on FPL impact.
Fixture release day is always an important date in FPL managers diaries. This is the moment where managers early pre-game launch thoughts on who they might own can change dramatically. Teams and players with a good run of fixtures to start the season will make for popular FPL picks ahead of Gameweek 1.

What does this mean for FPL 2022/23?
- Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have the nicest opening five fixtures of the season. This will make them key targets in FPL.
- Southampton, Place and Bournemouth have the toughest starts to the season. Many FPL managers will therefore ignore their assets for the first five weeks.
- Man City, Liverpool, Brighton and Wolves have the best attacking fixtures to start the seaosn
- The same four clubs also have the best defensive fixture.
