Player ownership has become a massive part of Fantasy Premier League so knowing who top 10 most popular picks for Gameweek 3 can help when it comes to making hard decisions regarding the use of transfers, captaincy and more.
- Erling Haaland (£14m – Manchester City – 90.9%) – The Norwegian faces Sheffield United in Gameweek 3 who have conceded some of the worst defensive stats in the division so far. He could be the standout captaincy option this week.
- Bukayo Saka (£8.6m – Arsenal – 66.1%) – Saka has a great fixture against Fulham this week. The London club have failed to look convincing and Saka could have huge potential going into the new round.
- Pervis Estupinan (£5.2m – Brighton – 57.6%) – Estupinan has failed to keep a clean sheet so far but has already picked up two assists and a goal. He faces West Ham at home in Gameweek 3 so could continue to return.
- Marcus Rashford (£9m – Manchester United – 47.1%) – Manchester United have failed to look convincing in the first two matches and Rashford is yet to pick up a single return. However, with Nottingham Forest ahead it could be wise to stay patient.
- Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m – Brighton – 39.8%) – Brighton have managed to bag a huge eight goals already and their Japanese midfielder has picked up 24 points for his returns.
Who else makes the top 10?
- Kieran Trippier (£6.5m – Newcastle – 32.3%) – Newcastle are yet to keep a clean sheet in the opening matches and Trippier has also failed to pick up a single return. He has some very tough fixtures ahead so it could be time to sell.
- Andre Onana (£5m – Manchester United – 29.8%) – Manchester United kept a clean sheet in Gameweek 1 but failed to look defensively strong. Onana picked up one return in his first two matches and faces Nottingham Forest at home next up.
- Mohamed Salah (£12.5m – Liverpool – 29.8%) – Liverpool face Newcastle next which could be tough and Salah has been below expectations especially when compared to other cheaper options in midfield.
- Gabriel (£5m – Arsenal – 28.9%) – Arsenal did not keep a clean sheet against Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 1 but they play Fulham next who do not look good offensively. Gabriel didn’t start the first match so it could be interesting to see how consistent his game time will be moving forward.
- Joao Pedro (£5.6m – Brighton – 26.6%) – Joao Pedro had a strong start to the new campaign after securing seven points due to his penalty. However, he did not start in Gameweek 2 and when he came on picked up a yellow card resulting in zero points.
