1. Erling Haaland – 72.6% Ownership

Not only does Erling Haaland (£15.3m) maintain his position as the highest owned player in the game this but his ownership has also grown since last week. The Norwegian can’t stop scoring after bagging 10 goals in his first five league matches. He faces a home meeting with Fulham this week which could see him add to his tally.

2. Mohamed Salah – 43.8% Ownership

Like Haaland Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) maintains his position in the top 10. However, the Egyptian has lost some ownership since the previous round. This could be due to producing just one assist in Gameweek 4 and 5, the fact he has tougher fixtures coming up or a mixture of both.

3. Cole Palmer – 39.3% Ownership

One player who doesn’t seemed to have budged in terms of standing and ownership is Cole Palmer (£10.6m). The Chelsea talisman faces a Nottingham Forest side who have been sustaining some brilliant defensive data this season. So, it won’t be easy for him to secure his seventh attacking return of the season.

4. Luis Diaz – 34.7% Ownership

Crashing his way into the top 10 this week is Liverpool midfielder Luis Diaz (£8m). Three double-digit hauls appear to be enough to gain the interest of managers. The Reds come up against an inconsistent Crystal Palace this week which could give Diaz an opportunity to extend his top form.

5. William Saliba – 34.4% Ownership

Although maintaining his top five position going into Gameweek 7 William Saliba (£6m) has lost some ownership. The reason for this could be teammate and fellow centre-back Gabriel who is gaining traction after recent goals against Manchester City and Spurs. That may be the case but Saliba has a good chance to return this week with a clash against Southampton at home.

Also amongst the top 10 most popular FPL picks for Gameweek 7 is Arsenal duo midfielder Bukayo Saka (£10.1m) and goalkeeper David Raya (£5.6m). Both players appear to have gained an additional 2-3% ownership since last week. This is probably due to their nice set of fixtures recently.

Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.1m) and Tottenham’s Pedro Porro (£5.6m) are both regulars amongst the top 10. Both full-backs have dropped in terms of ownership with Porro having the sharpest fall from 34%.

A new entry in the top 10 is Fulham midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe (£5.8m) who scored three goals between Gameweek 2-5. It may be a short feature for him however as he faces Manchester City in Gameweek 7.
