Notes
- Minnesota and Seattle both have good clean sheet odds (~40% or more) this week. I have representation from both defences, with Stefan Frei and Dayne St Clair forming my ‘keeperoo, and Kim Kee-Hee and Anthony Markanich making my bench and starting XI, respectively.
- My other two non-scrub defenders are Alex Freeman and Christopher McVey, both of whom also have decent clean sheet chances as well as offensive potential.
- In midfield, Anders Dreyer, Martín Ojeda and Albert Rusnák are all locks based on form and fixtures. The absence of Cole Bassett and Rafael Navarro means I’m currently off Đorđe Mihailović, with Federico Bernardeschi earning a bench spot instead.
- Cristian Espinoza currently has my final midfield spot. However, I’m considering switching him out given he played 120 mins in San Jose’s midweek USOC match.
- Upfront, Chucky Lozano and Lionel Messi are also locked in my team. However, I don’t think Messi is perma-captain material this week. I currently have the armband on Rusnák, although that may still change.
- My final forward spot is up for grabs. The stats on both sides of the NYCFC-Chicago fixture point to Alonso Martínez being a good pick; however, Tai Baribo could also be a worth a look against a leaky Inter Miami defence.

Notes
- Two of the best matchups this week to target are Seattle at home against Dallas and Minnesota at home against Austin. That is why I’m rolling Frei and Kee-Hee on my bench as an early game stack and tripling up with Minnesota D as a fall back. It is also the reason I have the armband on Rusnack.
- I like San Diego’s home matchup against LAG too, but something about that game feels unpredictable so I have Bombino and Dreyer on my bench.
- All three of Ojeda, San Jose, and Colorado have solid home matchups, but I am concerned about Ojeda and Espinoza’s midweek US Open Cup minutes.
- Philly Miami feels like it could turn into a goal fest, so Barino and Messi are locks. I’m not sure what to do with my third forward pick. I like Martinez’ matchup against Chicago, but I also feel like I could go Muriel, Josef Martinez, Chucky, or Tani/Yeboah. That last forward spot will be the big differentiator this week it seems.

Notes
- I love SD this week though LAG are playing a little better.
- I have Dreyer cap, but it could be Bouanga.
- I’m expecting goals in TOR v NSH, so I will have one midfielder from each.
- I have opted for double Minny defence with a fallback to Cincy Keeper.
- Haak can be scrubbed if Paddy does well. That is a very early kick-off for Seattle at home on the west coast.

Notes
- I’m currently looking at Stefan Frei on the front end of my keepeeroo as they host FC Dallas in the early game this round. Matt Freese of NYCFC is currently my fallback should Frei fail to keep a clean sheet.
- I’ve doubled up on Seattle defence with the inclusion of Nouhou on my bench. I also like San Diego and Minnesota for a clean sheet this week, therefore I’ve included Paddy McNair and Anthony Markanich. 20-year-old fullback Alex Freeman has been a revelation this season in MLS with three goals and one assist, so the offensive upside is there even if he and his Orlando teammates fails to keep a clean sheet at home to Portland.
- Anders Dreyer, Albert Rusnak and Martin Ojeda were easy locks for me this week due to their production for their respective teams so far this season. My fourth and fifth midfield spots are currently up for grabs but I’m currently on Djordje Mihailovic and Brian Gutierrez. The latter could be used as a scrub should my bench hit.
- Up front, I like Tai Baribo this week with a home matchup against Inter Miami who have shipped 10 goals in their last three league games.
- Denis Bouanga has been on a tear lately with nine goal contributions in his last seven games. I like his chances of adding to that tally against Montreal on the road. Alonso Martinez is currently my third and final forward.
