LiveFPL Rank Tiers – GW33 autosubs and chip usage
Midway through Gameweek 33, we can therefore use LiveFPL rank tiers to analyse the decisions made by FPL managers.
Autosubs made
Although there are five more matches left to complete Double Gameweek 33, we can already see which players are causing autosubs. Four teams are yet to participate – Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton and Man City. So it remains to be seen whether any big-name absentees will join the Aston Villa, Leeds and Wolves players that are forcing change.
Chip usage of rank tiers
It is a big week for chip usage, with over 23% of the top 10k activating one. Free Hit and Bench Boost take advantage of the seven teams that play twice, as will Double Gameweeks 36 and 37. Overall, there are around 50% of managers who’ve not even used their first Free Hit. Such people need to be aware that this pair cannot be used in successive rounds and there aren’t many left.
Top 10k template
Compared to last week’s analysis, there are two changes to the elite template. The huge popularity of Fabian Schar‘s two matches brought him in for the injured Matt Doherty, whilst Raphinha‘s known non-appearance made him an easy switch to James Maddison.
The early blanks of Spurs trio Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski are disappointing, just like those of Bukayo Saka and Maddison. At least Wout Weghorst finally scored, though.
Effective Ownership in rank tiers
The EO (percentage of starting XI teams, plus captaincy, of a player) numbers are fairly consistent across ranks for premium assets like Mohamed Salah and Joao Cancelo. However, both Schar and Armando Broja have far more ownership in the higher tiers.
