LiveFPL Rank Tiers – Gameweek 27
Gameweek 27 is over, therefore we can use LiveFPL rank tiers to analyse the decisions made by FPL managers.
AUTOSUBS MADE
This Gameweek’s data is heavy-influenced by the large number of Free Hit chips that were used. That ability to make decisions on late information meant that there weren’t many autosubs amongst active players, particularly in the top 10k. For this reason, it was just the surprise benchings of Man United pair Diogo Dalot and Harry Maguire that affected more than 2% of this tier. Southampton’s clean sheet brought autosub joy to many of these, with Daniel Amartey yet to take part in Gameweek 27.
Overall, the non-playing Liverpool and Arsenal assets caused many autosubs, as 3.87% received the ten points of Ben Foster in place of, most likely, Aaron Ramsdale.
TOP 10K CHIP USAGE
Around 45% of the top 10k used a Free Hit chip this week. However, 13% of these won’t have any more to navigate the big Blank Gameweek 30. That weekend currently has only three Premier League matches because it clashes with the FA Cup quarter finals.
TOP 10K TEMPLATE
As a consequence of 45% using a Free Hit, the top 10k template is vastly different this time. A starting XI with Foster, Amartey, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah would currently be on 55 points, with Burnley trio Nick Pope, Ben Mee and captain Wout Weghorst to play once more.
EFFECTIVE OWNERSHIP IN RANK TIERS
The EO (percentage of starting XI teams, plus captaincy, of a player) numbers vary greatly amongst ranks for Free Hit punts like Weghorst, Pope and Mahrez. Yet names like Salah, Ramsdale and Alexander-Arnold should reappear next week for Gameweek 28.
