LiveFPL announces a four-round virtual mini-game
When the early days of Covid postponed Premier League football for three months, in stepped LiveFPL with a Virtual FPL game to keep the community alive.
Now, Ragabolly has announced a smaller, challenge-based game that launches on Sunday and ends next Friday.
SUNDAY – ROUND 1: The Wealthy
An unlimited budget, using current FPL prices
MONDAY – ROUND 2: The Diverse
Unlimited transfers, £105m budget, no more than one player from a Premier League team
WEDNESDAY – ROUND 3: The Bargain
Unlimited transfers, £105m budget, no players above £6.5m
FRIDAY – ROUND 4: The Differential
Unlimited transfers, £105m budget, no player with over 10% ownership
All players will remain fit and available for all rounds, so options like Reece James, Patrick Bamford and Ben Chilwell are fine to play. However, your team doesn’t carry over into the next round, it needs to be picked separately – something which can be done in advance for all four.
After a deadline, one match will be simulated on the LiveFPL website every five minutes. Points will be added together accordingly, with ties leading to shared rank.
To warm-up and check out the simulation engine, each manager can play five friendly matches per round before submitting their final line-up.
Check out LiveFPL’s Twitter feed for more updates on the game. Here are the fixtures for the first round:
Watford v Norwich
Newcastle v West Ham
Burnley v Man City
Brentford v Leicester
Southampton v Arsenal
Everton v Chelsea
Brighton v Wolves
Aston Villa v Crystal Palace
Liverpool v Leeds
Man United v Tottenham
