The two mass absentees during Gameweek 12 were Raphinha (illness) and Ruben Dias (rotation), although most replacements in the top 10k brought in either one or two points. Raul Jimenez added eight points to 3.11% of them and even fewer got lucky with Antonio Rudiger‘s goal and clean sheet. Overall, a decent number of teams also had autosubs come in for Gabriel Jesus, Jack Grealish and Mason Greenwood. Liverpool left back Kostas Tsimikas gifted a clean sheet to an extra 4.50% of grateful managers.
TOP 10K CHIP USAGE
Barely any chip usage from the top 10k, despite international breaks usually being seen as a good time to Wildcard. Almost 97% of them have already used the chip, although it’ll be interesting to see when the final 3% will – they have until Gameweek 20.
TOP 10K TEMPLATE
The only change in the template top 10k squad is Harry Kane replacing Jamie Vardy, which would usually indicate that Kane scored the goals that pushed new teams into that level. But he didn’t. A line-up that captained Mohamed Salah and left Ben Foster, Tino Livramento, Raphinha and Josh Brownhill on the bench would have scored 78 points.
EFFECTIVE OWNERSHIP
The EO (percentage of starting XI teams, plus captaincy, of a player) numbers of the top 100k differ slightly from the top 10k, with much less ownership of Kane, Aaron Ramsdale and Phil Foden.
