Live FPL Rank Tiers – GW11
An inside look into the decisions of FPL managers, by rank, using the Live FPL website
AUTOSUBS MADE
Compared to Gameweek 10, there were very few notable rotations amongst the 20 starting line-ups. Cesar Azpilicueta missed out again and was the only top 10k absentee with an effective ownership (EO) above 2%. More generally, Jack Grealish was automatically subbed out in almost 11% of teams with Azpilicueta, Danny Ings and Marcos Alonso also causing bench movement, although the likes of Shane Duffy, Daniel Amartey and Luke Shaw made virtually no impact.
Compared to the huge elite ownership of Tino Livramento (see below), only 33.42% of the top 10k managers could benefit from yet another clean sheet of his. Seven of his last eight matches have brought either a goal, assist or clean sheet from Southampton’s right back.
TOP 10K CHIP USAGE
Little Wildcard movement again, with almost 94% of the top 10k having already used the chip and the remaining managers most likely using this international fortnight to activate it. 1.43% proceeded to use Bench Boost, which was likely a genius move considering popular bench cheap options like Ben Foster (11), Livramento (6), Ben White (8), James McArthur (6) and Mathias Normann (9) all had a good weekend.
TOP 10K TEMPLATE
The combination of Aaron Ramsdale‘s clean sheet and the red card of Robert Sanchez means we now have a shift in the top 10k template goalkeepers, with Reece James replacing Duffy in defence. Mohamed Salah has had a slight drop in elite ownership, with 0.01% raging at his five-point return in Gameweek 9. All of the front eight remain the same and – assuming Salah captaincy and a bench of Foster, Livramento, Josh Brownhill and Michail Antonio – the starting 11 would have scored 69 points.
EFFECTIVE OWNERSHIP
The EO (percentage of starting XI teams, plus captaincy, of a player) numbers of the top 100k differ slightly, with much less ownership of Ramsdale and Phil Foden.
