Last Minute Gameweek 12 Tips

Gameweek 12 Tips

Chelsea players are firmly in our thoughts ahead of the Gameweek 12 Tips.

Christian Pulisic dominates the transfers in list, with Tammy Abraham likely to be in pole position for captaincy: he’s the highest owned player in the game.

Mount

Mason Mount picked up another ankle injury in the Champions League this week. Depending on the prognosis, Gooner FPL is encouraging managers to sell in the Gameweek 12 tips, despite any value tied up in him. Their fixture against Manchester City looms immediately after the International Break.

Referees

VAR and refereeing has been dominating the headlines over the last few weeks. Greater flexibility at Stockley Park has brought more penalties. Jamie Vardy and Anthony Martial could be the ones to capitalise in spot-kick duty if the statistics go their way this weekend.

Stats

Andrey Arshivan has updated his four game week statistics for the Gameweek 12 tips. Those with Neal Maupay could be persuaded to keep the faith and Jimenez could capitalise with a home game against Aston Villa. James Maddison looks well placed for Leicester’s fixture against Crystal Palace.

Launch

There’s a brand new podcast launched in the community this week, with FPL Mode and FPL SOS combining for the FPL Wolfpack Wolfpod. It’s always great to see new initiatives in the community, so please be generous in supporting this new venture.

Watchlist

The Watchlist fixture on the FPL website is a criminally underused tool. Long-time supporter, FPL General, has provided his weekly watchlist series over on the Fantasy Football Hub website. Marcos Alonso has been removed, but Callum Hudson-Odoi could cling on, with Mason Mount potentially missing.

Aguero

Sergio Aguero has seen some sales, with patchy form and a tough upcoming run of fixtures. FPL Vs has shared some intriguing statistics though: the Argentine has an excellent record against all of his upcoming opponents, which could prove to be pivotal.

Odds

FPL Salah returns to the Gameweek 12 tips, with the all important bookies odds. Tammy Abraham leads the way on the adjusted anytime goalscorer probabilities, with Jamie Vardy also making the top three. Harry Kane is back from illness and could also become a contender, along with Son Heung-Min.

Review

Fantasy Yirma have another entertaining game week review, courtesy of Jack Goodwin. It’s important to look back before moving forward, analysing all the key statistics from the big games last weekend. The Apprentice style format is highly amusing.

Video

Earlier this week, I joined Lee from FPL Family and Joe from Fantasy Football Scout for the latest episode of the Scoutcast. There were many potent words on John Lundstram, plus anecdotes from the season as a whole, with the mistakes made.

Captain

Tammy Abraham may look set to be the most popular captain in Gameweek 12, but Jamie Vardy is the wise Foxes pick within the community this week. FPL Prince suggests an intriguing argument, based on Vardy’s form and the quality (or lack of) from the Arsenal defence.

Lessons

FPL Muzzy has provided another excellent thread, detailing his top takeaways from the previous round of games, as we look to improve going forward. Maddison dominates the chances created metric, with Jamie Vardy dominating the goals and shots on targets data.

Podcast

Finally, in the latest episode of Fantasy Weekly, FPL General, FPL Dave, James Copeland and myself dissect the premium options. Liverpool have great fixtures, with Manchester City stuttering and facing a tough upcoming spell. Is it time to part with KDB or Sterling?
